Update (7/22/25): I had a different serviceman named Danny. He was also very professional and took his time but was also very thorough. Good manners. I give him 10 stars! Burkhardt has exceptional customer service! Thank you Danny!
Frustrating experience. The heat pump that was quoted to us was not the same one as the one actually installed. The install crew left a large mess in our attic and there were many gaps in the ventilation insulation. The heat pump does work, so credit for that. Heat pump and air handler cost about $16k.

Chris was awesome he did exactly what I needed didn’t push me into doing something I wasn’t comfortable. He exemplified customer service, hats off. My ac is working and isn’t making any bubbling noises or freezing up so far. Best part, It was CHEAPER than the initial estimate to top my refrigerant off and he threw in the deal for free diagnostics with a website coupon. He did warn me that it’s only a matter of time but respected my wants and needs too. Overall I had a great experience and you guys got me dialed in thank you.
The tech was here promptly, fixed the issue in about 10 minutes. I was only charged for the service call. It is the 3rd of July and the temps are going to be in the 90’s for the next few days. I highly recommend. I purchased my HVAC system from Burkhardt and have had nothing but a positive experience.

Scheduled service next day, technician was very informative and knowledgeable. Jessica in the office was very helpful and friendly. Elliot was quick to provide a quote same day as service. He was sure we understood our options. Troy and Andy completed our install flawlessly. They accommodated our schedule allowing us not to be home and completing the work with no issues.
I was having an issue with my AC not blowing hard or cold.
The tech came out and said it was low on Freon.
He couldn't tell me how low it was just that it was low and it was 520 dollars to recharge it.
I told him to go ahead he charged it with no gauges just a tank and a hose.
Couldn't tell me how much he put in. Said the cost didn't change based on the amount of Freon. It was 520 dollars from one pound to four pounds.
At the end my unit still isn't blowing hard or cold enough. His words not mine.
But he had no idea of what it could be. So he charged me 380 instead of 620.
Billy and Rigo were professional, efficient, and easy to work with. They explained everything to me ahead of time. It took a couple of days to install my mini split system, and while they worked, they were considerate, unintrusive, and neat. When the system was installed, Billy explained everything to me about how to work it and what to expect. Burkhardt has been my go to HVAC for years now, and I will always call them first.
