Lovely restaurant & beautiful sunsets!
One of our favourites, beautiful setting, close to Rocha Brava, wonderful food, friendly service, a little more expensive than some but worth it for a special night out. Wonderful lounge seating for a cocktail after dinner. It’s got everything to make a night of it. Even live music on certain nights, check out their Facebook page. You can even have a day at their pool at the back of the restaurant, just perfect.

Grill and bar...and some!
Maybe giving away a local secret here, but dinner at the Lighthouse is more than the understated 'grill and bar' description - it offers a wonderful dining experience, with a friendly vibe. I would describe the range of dishes as world cuisine using fine local ingredients. The tables are laid beautifully and the table service is exceptional. Spectacular panoramic sea view, the sunset backdrop was breathtaking. Highly recommend for that one special evening of the holiday.

Great night at the restaurant
We have been here before whilst on holiday in Carvoeiro as love the restaurant - always super food and its in a beautiful location overlooking the Carvoeiro coast line and sunset views. Excellent friendly staff and we tried the new private diner menu with friends which was exceptional . Highly recommend .

Eating out in Carverio
The light house bar and grill is the perfect setting for a evening meal with family. The venue offers comfortable seating area for pre dinner drinks with friendly service. We arrived in good time and ordered drinks and advised we would be shown to our table at our chosen time. After 20min over time and noticed others guests were being seated who arrived after us we had to ask the waitress who later admitted they had seated the wrong guests. As we were on holiday this was not a problem for us. The meals were excellent apart from the fillet steak which sadly was over cooked from what was ordered and at 40euro although still enjoyed was spoiled. Would still recommend

Day two wedding BBQ
We had our day two wedding BBQ at the lighthouse and it was absolutely perfect! Views were stunning and Kirsten and the staff were so friendly and helpful, very attentive and looked after our every need! The food selection was very good with lots of options for the guests and the Rose sangria in particular was a big hit amongst our guests! 10/10 perfect venue for a day two or even wedding day!

Lovely rooftop bar just outside Carvoeiroee visited for lunch and for an evening . Food was really good really goodie choice of menu - freshly prepared - excellent service - beautiful location nice seating - staff very attentive Saxophone player in the evening highly recommend day and evening

Perfect Location, Service and Food.
We had a lovely family meal at the Lighthouse whilst staying nearby. Easy parking in front and great views. Sadly was a bit chilly to sit out but no problem … as the inside area is great with fantastic large murals on the walls inside the light and airy space. We were met with a smile that really set the tone. Service was exemplary with very good advice even getting us to order less of the super tasty Seafood Paella which turned out to be good advice as even though we are big eaters was the perfect amount. Desserts were very tasty too. We wandered into the bar adjacent to the restaurant to catch last of the football match, where the part owner offered us drinks and if we’d have wanted could’ve had desserts there instead. Even took trouble to get lollipops for the kids. Again excellent friendly service, great location and food. Thanks to all at The Lighthouse, the perfect last evening of our holiday!

Well 1st time here and already planned to come back in the morning,very nice chilled relaxing gorgeous place . Very reasonable priced , food was 10/10 , staff very welcoming and friendly very helpful and cannot do enough for you . Shout out to Amy for looking after us ,customer service was exceptional .

Fantastic views off the top but the welcome was far from warm. We felt unwelcome and lucky to be served. Grumpy head waiter average food and over priced. Best thing is the view

We visited the Lighthouse Bar and Grill for a special occasion. We were shown to a seating area for pre dinner drinks. When the first course arrived we were taken to a private dining area with spectacular views. With each course we were served a wine that complemented the food. Each course was excellent. The staff were very attentive but not intrusive. The wine waiter was very knowledgeable. This special occasion was made even more special by the food, wine, staff and the live music. The Lighthouse is in a great location and worth a visit even if you just wanted drinks and to admire the 360 views. We would strongly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent cuisine
Everything was simply sensational, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. The wine selection was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location of the restaurant was beautiful, the terrace was a dream. We were there several times during our holidays. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The children's menus were also delicious and our 2-year-old granddaughter was very welcome. A must on our next stay. Many thanks to the whole team

Heaven on earth
A truly Beautiful place to spend the day. Sparkling clean, stylish and modern. The staff are wonderful. They really can’t do enough for you. Lunch was lovely and we will definitely return next year. Thank you for looking after 8 Scottish ladies!

Unhappy lunch visit
Very disappointed had to wait over an hour for some gluten free food presentation was very basic no salad etc and the waitress was complaining she was having a nightmare niway as good as last year sorry lighthouse you spoit our lunch
