My job is a Prison Custody Officer and I had to take on an incredibly violent prisoner who tried to kill me. I managed to fight my way back to my feet and took one hell of a beating before eventually getting him into his cell. I had to go to hospital. As soon as my face was presentable I went back to work. Bit by bit I began to realise that things were not right with my body. Many everyday tasks became more and more difficult. I was in constant pain. My wife said I couldn’t go on like this and that I needed to go and see a chiropractor. She booked me an appointment with Lushington and I began my journey with Dr. Elizabeth Wright. She explained that the ligature he used around my neck created a lot of trauma and that it traveled down my spine and manifested in my lumbar region. The job was to convince the body that it’s okay to let go of all that trauma and so over a period of three months I experienced many pops and clicks as well as many an elbow to the butt. Gradually I noticed more movement in my neck and I was able to perform more and more tasks. Thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Wright I can turn my neck (rather than my whole body) when talking to someone. Getting up from a chair or out of bed is no longer the arduous task it used to be and I can walk my mountain dogs and pick up their poo. I’m very grateful to Lizzie for giving me back a much better quality of life.

Friendly, expert and attentive care
I had the pleasure of a free promotional massage from Ewan Taylor during Eastbourne Airshow. Ewan was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and after listening carefully to my area of concern he provided a really thorough and effective shoulder massage - releasing tightness and tension. Would definitely recommend!

I am grateful for a friendly approach at Lushington and getting my neck and back pain sorted commencing with examination, relevant treatment and then massage to work on the joints and muscles which needed that. The exercises I was given are designed to help maintain the improvement in said joints and muscles and I know that if they revert to their bad old ways I can go back to Lushington for treatment.

First time at this chiropractor booked in to see Elizabeth wright well she was so lovely wanted to know everything about my back
Pain examined me throughly. I went back on Wednesday and she said explained to me what was the problem which I was so happy to finally get a diagnosis gave me exercise to do which I have been doing it has helped a little bit but getting there and going back next week would definitely recommend Lushington chiropractor to anyone.

I can’t recommend Lishington Chiropractor enough! Everyone on the team is so friendly and welcoming, and the whole treatment process is really well structured.
The chiropractors are very knowledgeable and have honestly worked wonders for me. Within the first session I noticed an improvement in my posture and my spine feels so much better. They also give really practical tips and exercises to help you maintain the progress between sessions.
Everything is done at your own pace and based on your goals, so you never feel rushed. My only wish is that I could have started going much sooner!

Never been to a chiropractor before, was slightly apprehensive. But Emma was amazing, made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. Was very thorough and looking forward to her working her magic with my neck pain.

I started coming to Lushington Chiropractic a few weeks ago and was impressed by the welcome and friendly atmosphere that I experienced. The practice are good at putting you at your ease.
I have a lower spine problem and as a result had a few walking issues. After several appointments with Dr Jenny and Dr James, l am very pleased that the pain and sciatica that I was experiencing, have mostly disappeared and my walking is now much more secure and easier.
I am hoping that after more consultations I will continue to improve. I waited a few weeks to post this so that I could be sure of these comments and am now happy to thoroughly recommend this practice .
