I've never been good at being a passive recipient of treatment and care; I won't tolerate being patronised; I prefer honesty to empty promises. Well, hurrah! Lushington Chiropractic is the place to go. The initial consultation was thorough (and exhausting). I felt heard and unjudged. As anxious as it made me feel at the time, I now appreciate waiting to hear that they may be able to help. (I wouldn't have trusted an immediate and effusive "Oh yes, we can make it all better.")
The initial part of the treatment programme reflects my abilities and limitations. The rehab 'homework' exercises look daunting but I'll do my best. I've just done stage 1 of the shoulder exercises and that's all I can manage today. (My best is a moveable feast: whilst one day's best looks pretty good, another day's best might seem poor to terrible. But I'll always give that day's best. The fact that the consultant 'gets it' is one of the reasons I'm so happy.)
I'll add that the receptionist is lovely, helpful and considerate.

After a couple of weeks of agony.. the lovley receptionist booked me in promptly to finally find me some answers and get me some relief from the pain. The Clinician was spot on with everything, and helped relieve the pain.. and gave me instructions as how to keep it at bay. When the pains gone, im looking forward to having the acupuncture and massages! Many many thanks!!

Despite what my name displays, the people down at lushington will know me as Rob Jobling.
The treatment here has changed my health for the better from the massages to the movement therapy.
There are many amazing members of staff here. None more so than Beth who I always enjoy coming to see, she's highly knowledgeable, friendly and is always pleasant to be around, which has made this already life changing experience that much more special.

The whole team at Lushington Chiropractors are brilliant they always remember you and treat you like a friend. I was suffering neck pain and experiencing a lot of migraines within just a couple of sessions my neck felt much better and my migraines much less I can't thank Dr Emma enough for the fantastic treatment she gave me. Now after many sessions my neck, shoulders and back are so much better that I no longer need regular treatment but know if I need any treatment in the future The team at Lushington will be there for me.

Shame thereās not more stars to award Lushington. I first walked into the clinic somewhat broken, everything was crocked. I worked with James and the team on various issues including painful knees, feet, hips, lower back and shoulders. The difference now is amazing, in just four months Iāve resumed going to the gym and am, compared to last Sept, in a much much better place. Iād like to thank everyone at Lushington especially James, Jenny, Beth and Ewan, all of whom have helped my recovery. Great advice, treatment and service.

Dr. Emma has been putting up with me for nearly 4 years now! There is always a warm welcome waiting and nothing is ever too much trouble. The lovely ladies on reception even made me a cuppa today when I arrived super-early to shelter from the rain! Fabulous!!

I was in agony, which made me go to Lushington, I was booked with Doc Izzy, lovely lady, she assured me she could help and yes she did, Iām doing exercises and using a tennis ball which is keeping my mobility ok, I have very bad arthritis so will always be in pain. So glad I am registered with Lushington.thank you.

I was suffering with my third episode of severe lower back pain in about six months and followed advice to see a chiropractor. I was staying with my in-laws in Eastbourne over the New Year period and so this was very much an emergency appointment as I couldn't even stand up straight or walk properly. This was my first experience of chiropractic treatment and from start to finish James (Revell) was excellent at explaining everything clearly and succinctly - he made me feel very comfortable and, most importantly, gave me a reassuringly sound diagnosis of what is causing these repeat episodes. Over the course of the week I had three sessions with James moving from diagnosis to treatment and by the end I was almost back to normal, with a clear plan for ongoing aftercare to set me on a pathway to the necessary improvements I need to make. I would highly recommend Lushington Chiropractic to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and reassuring service.
