A wonderful program to bring your child to receive help with Autism. I've signed my daughter up to this program September of 2025. For the past 8 months she has blossomed! Learning gestures and some sign language to communicate with others(she's not non-verbal, but she also doesn't use clear words...yet.). And if your child needs additional services such as OT, PT, and Speech, they have partner programs for your child to sign up for. They also accept Medicaid as well. :) But don't take my word for it, give them a call.

I have been with the clinic since it first opened, and I can truly say it is a positive and professional environment that genuinely cares about both clients and its staff. The play-based ABA approach creates a fun, safe, and supportive space where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and build confidence. RBTs are compassionate, kind, and consistently go above and beyond to support each child while creating an engaging and positive environment for growth. The team values communication, collaboration, and individualized support to ensure every client receives high-quality care tailored to their needs. The clinic also works closely with families to support each child's progress and create meaningful, individualized goals. The BCBAs are incredibly hands-on and dedicated to providing the best possible care for clients. Their support, guidance and commitment to each child's success truly make a difference. I'm grateful to be part of a team that is so passionate about helping children and families succeed.

I would highly recommend Children’s Specialized ABA to any family looking for thoughtful, high-quality ABA services. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear how much thought and care has gone into creating a beautiful, welcoming clinic environment for kids and families. What truly sets Children's Specialized apart is their commitment to assent-based, compassionate care. The team consistently prioritizes each child’s voice and comfort, which makes such a meaningful difference. Having BCBAs on-site provides an added level of support and expertise, and you can see the impact in the quality of care and programming. The leadership team is communicative, responsive, and genuinely cares. It’s clear they value both the children they serve and the staff who support them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My team is 10/10 🫶🏾 I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have Morgan as my son's BCBA at Children's Specialized ABA. From our very first encounter, she has been a beacon of support and kindness. Morgan's dedication to my son's progress over the past year and a half has been nothing short of transformative. She goes above and beyond, providing not only valuable resources, top tier service but also emotional support. Morgan has been a shoulder to cry on, literally, always ready to share a laugh and make me feel at ease. I genuinely believe that we wouldn't be where we are today without her encouragement and unwavering commitment. She truly cares about my son and our family, creating a safe space that has made a huge difference in our lives. I also want to give a shoutout to Sahara, my son's RBT, who joined the team last year. That’s my girl! She has been equally amazing, quickly becoming an integral part of our support system. She’s knowledgeable, communicative, supportive, and efficient. Genuinely an outstanding RBT and person alike. She really has been God sent! Together, Morgan and Sahara form a stellar duo that has been a blessing for my son. The impact these two women have on families like mine is immeasurable. Their dedication and compassion deserve recognition, and I truly hope their contributions continue to be valued. Thank you, Morgan and Sahara for all that you do!

I feel there are several areas where transparency and communication could be improved. During my time with the company, I noticed inconsistencies in leadership knowledge and support, particularly around the data systems used to guide clinical and operational decisions. This affected my confidence in how information was being managed. I also want to make other families aware of something I didn’t fully understand at first: client progress data is submitted to a national data registry. While this may be included in general intake paperwork, I felt this wasn’t clearly explained in a way that supported informed decision-making. In my view, families deserve very clear, direct conversations about how their child’s data is used and why. If you are a parent considering services, I recommend asking your BCBA or clinical team to explain what “clinical outcome data” means, how it is collected, and how it is shared. Having this information up front can help you make the best choices for your family.

Highly recommend to any of my Nuerodivergent families out there who are seeking a safe, loving, and special place for their loved one. I was so nervous sending my son to an in-person ABA especially ALONE and non-verbal. It's the scariest feeling as a special needs mom. His BCBA (shutout Alex) and the many ABA's (shoutout Ms. Rachel) that cared for my son and changed him in the most positive ways possible. Even the Administrative staff is the most helpful I have ever seen in my life! They are just there whenever you need them in every possible way (shoutout to Sarah) .Always trust your gut as a parent but definitely trust that Blue Balloon 🎈 will take care of your child like their own. You will see changes you never thought possible. And never be afraid to communicate your needs they will hear you. ✨️

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Chelsie. We understand how nerve-wracking it can be to send your child to in-person therapy, especially when they are non-verbal. We are thrilled to hear that Alex, Ms. Rachel, Sarah, and our team were able to provide support and care that helped your child thrive. Your trust means a lot to us, and we’re honored to partner with families like yours in helping children reach their full potential.

Shoutout to all the amazing staff at Children’s Specialized for your care, creativity, and dedication! We’ve been with this ABA team for over three years now, and the difference in our child’s life has been truly incredible. When we first started, we were overwhelmed and didn’t know where to begin, but the team stepped in right away with so much compassion, structure, and a plan that made sense for our family. Our BCBA has been amazing—always checking in, updating goals, and helping us understand why certain strategies work. The therapists who work with our child are patient, kind, and genuinely invested in their progress. They celebrate every milestone, big or small, and that means so much as a parent!!! They also go above and beyond to engage both children and families outside of sessions. Just yesterday, we attended their Fall Festival that was sensory-friendly, inclusive, and full of thoughtful details. Seeing our child comfortably try new things and have fun in such a supportive environment was incredibly special. Over the years, we’ve watched our child become more independent, communicate more clearly, and handle everyday routines with confidence. It’s not just about what happens during sessions—it’s how much they’ve helped us as a family learn to support and connect with our child. If you’re looking for an ABA team that truly cares, takes the time to understand your child, and creates an environment where families feel supported, Children’s Specialized is the place. We’re endlessly grateful for everything this amazing team does! 💛

Mom here- my sons 6 years old and engaged in motor and vocal stereotypy. He’s your typical toe walker and vocal stimmer who requires a lot of hands on support and redirection. He has sensory processing disorder and needs a lot of sensory support or gets overwhelmed. I enrolled my son in prek 4 in our public school district and within two months of enrolling him, he came home bruised and was terrified of going to school. I’m not sure what happened but I knew I had to take him out and fight out of district. So from when he was 4 (back in 2023) we joined an ABA agency which practiced bad ABA and ended up traumatizing my son. We experienced ABA trauma and the therapist my son had, prevented my son from playing and ran her session with constant discrete trial. I felt like the therapist never wanted to build a relationship with my son and was only there to complete the programs my son had in his treatment plan. She would come home and would get straight to working on the programs, often ignoring my sons sensory needs and forcing him to comply. This made me unenroll him completely in ABA and hate ABA. Because of the trauma my son experienced, I knew he needed a play based approach where they were understanding of his needs and actually wanted to build a relationship with my son so we then switched to DIR floor time therapy. It worked for a few weeks they didn’t provide the structure my son needed and it made my son more self directed. I also didn’t have a detailed report nor assessment like the ones I received with ABA (VB- MAPP). So I decided to keep him home. Then I found out children’s specialized was launching their line of ABA and prayed for some type of direction. I was scared of starting ABA again because of everything we experienced but I knew ABA therapy was what my son needed because he understood the concept of the therapy and it provided him with structure, BCBA oversight, and opportunities for learning. After much thinking I decided to start the process for in home because I didn’t trust anyone with my son, and throughout the process they informed me about clinic options. I was skeptical because I’m aware of cases where ABA clinics have only harmed children and agencies who take in children for case loads for personal financial gain. I was encouraged to tour the clinic and see if I felt comfortable. After much discussion with the team and constant reassurance, I decided to give children’s specialized hospital a chance. When a BCBA came in to conduct our VB-MAPP and we met to go over my sons treatment plan, I was surprised and really grateful to see that all of the goals in my sons plan were strictly for communication (Manding, requesting, following one step directions) and play (picking up toys, sharing toys, requesting toys, choosing activities to play with, etc). In the other ABA agency we experienced ABA trauma in, all of my sons goals required him to match, identify, draw, write, etc. I knew my son wasn’t ready for all of that yet and needed to really work on prerequisite skills as well as foundational learning skills like attending, engaging, communicating, waiting, requesting, etc. And children’s specialized hospital saw just that. They saw he needed help in those areas and really met my son where he was. I knew my son was going to have the clinic experience and was going to be learning through a natural environment, most importantly through play. When I visited the center, I saw more toys than anything. They have sensory rooms and gym for the kids to run in. We’re very happy here. My sons sensory needs are met, there’s no forcing him to do anything he doesn’t want to do, RBTs are using AAC devices, they’re always trying to build a relationship with the kids, everyone in the building are always happy to see our kids and every other child who walks in, and most importantly, there’s a lot of transparency between staff and parents. All questions I’ve had, we’re always answered. And my son has always been found clean and happy. He loved going to the clinic and were so grateful for CSH ABA.
