Sadly we had a really poor experience when visiting this weekend. Partner wanted to watch the football so we popped in hoping to get some dinner. Was told when going to order food that we couldn't order until 6pm, then at 6pm was told that they stopped taking food orders. So we left to get food elsewhere then came back to watch the football, were told to move as they were going to use the main tv for karaoke, so we were squished around one table with everyone else wanting to watch the football. The music was ridiculously loud for a small pub - then we were told to move to the other side of the pub next to a table there for a 21st birthday as the tv we were watching the football on was going to be used for something else, so we again moved just for them to not use that tv. Just poor service to be honest, never knew it could be so difficult to watch the footy at a sports bar. Would'nt return

Im sorry you had a bad experience, not sure what happened about communication about food as saturdays food is served 12 noon to 8:30pm,
We have 4 large screens spread round the room and1 is used on a saturday for karaoke.
Tables do get booked and we allow people to use the booked tables until the time they are booked but then they have to be given to the people who booked them.
We are a mixed use bar, its sports , entertainment, family during the day and good food, i dont know the date to comment on what went on but if you had a negative experience im very sorry and would like the opportunity to host you again with a 20% discount

I use a small mobility scooter, so going up the ramp was a bit scary, staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive. Owner popped over to see us, very nice and friendly. Arrived early evening with young family for a meal, food was was really good. Music was a bit loud, but we were seated near the speakers. Sadly we noticed staff were vaping behind the bar.

I am a fulltime wheelchair user and the staff are very accommodating they make sure the ramp outside is safe and even help push me up. Inside is spacious so there is plenty of room to move around. The disabled toilet is super clean and well looked after. I would recommend to anyone.

A pleasant surprise! Saw the excellent review and popped in. Honestly we were a bit anxious because there wasn’t too many people (perhaps coz it’s almost 2pm on Sat) and the puppies gave us a very warm welcome 🤣😅. But the staff was very friendly and the food was a SURPRISE! The chips was among the best I have had in England so far. The panini was also good. If we were to visit Battle again, we would certainly also come back to this nice bar!
