Dishonest service and overpriced products The technician in De, John Hall misled me multiple times. He insisted I needed a new MyQ keypad for $119 when my original worked fine. I bought the keypad elsewhere for $50, but he failed to install it and swapped it for his “expensive” $179 version, which I later found online for $20. This deceptive trade made him $30 off me. Additionally, I paid $1,600 for a new overhead that Lowe’s sells for less than $300. Appointments were missed, and calls often went unanswered. I feel completely ripped off.

NOT RECOMMENDED CENTURY IS NOT RECOMMENDED! Replacing two torsion springs was quick and efficient but the cost was almost $1,600. I did not have time to get another quote in advance but believe this was excessive. The technician was competent but arrived in a battered pickup truck which leaked oil with no company name on it. I believe I was scammed.

Excellent Install We had our garage door opener replaced because it was 22 years old and it stopped working. I called Century who set up a same day appointment and our technician, Malcolm Johnson, was fabulous. Malcolm gave recommendations and completed our installation in a little over 2 hours, which he had informed me beforehand, and we are so grateful for his prompt service. What we really appreciated was Malcolm's knowledge and courteousness. What a great service and a great technician!

Senior Citizen Did not provide work verbally stated. Charged for items they said would be covered. Non-responsive to fix problems after numerous calls, emails, and registered mail. Left old greasy opener and removed parts and trash on premises. Did not install bottom weather strip properly in track and put screw where it is off track causing water leaks and puddles in my garage every time it rains.

Unhappy Customer Only want to sell new, not repair. Don't provide what they verbally offer. Do not provide quality work. Leave trash at customers residence. Do not respond to repair requests after numerous calls. Add charges supposedly covered under initial rate onto invoices. Show up without appointments and do not keep scheduled appointments. Ask for tips.

Again, the limitation of the lack of half stars. Really a 3.5 review, but obviously edged towards 4 stars. I needed an emergency garage door replacement and they got it done!They are VERY communicative. Easily the fastest company to give a quote, and they were also were in touch via Yelp, email, text and phone. I appreciated their quick communication!The work also was well done. The new garage opens and closes faster and more quietly than the old one.That said, they did not in any way clean up the garage after they finished the work. And it's not like it was just packaging left behind, but I found screws, nuts, and wire on the ground. It honestly took us a couple days to clear out all the debris. They even forgot one of their tools (it was almost like they'd gotten scared out of my garage... is my garage haunted?) which I returned to them. But ultimately, they were easy to work with, very price competitive and delivered quick service and a high quality door (and did a great job getting rid of the old busted door). So I'd recommend them... just walk through your garage with shoes when they're done!
