Chris did an amazing job planning our trip. Our group of 8 didn’t have to worry about any details after we landed in Costa Rica. The resort was amazing and the fishing was better! Transportation from the airport, from the resort to fishing, back to the resort… everything was planned for us. My Central America Fishing contact answered the phone or text immediately every time I reached out to him. Everyone in my group kept complementing me on planning the trip. I kept telling them, “All I did was call Chris, this is all Central America Fishing’s work!” This was my first time using a service like this, and I will use them from now on. Chris is already working on plans for our next trip.

Thank you Chris for the amazing Guatemala vacation! We caught 28 sailfish, 1 blue marlin, 2 large tuna, and a bonita in 3 days of fishing before heading to the mountains for some scenic volcano hikes. Accommodations were fantastic and all logistics went smooth. 10 out of 10!

A big thank you to Central America Fishing, our trip to Costa Rica was amazing. I had mentioned to Chris this was my first time traveling to Costa Rica and he put together the perfect trip. All transportation pickup/drop-offs on the itinerary were on schedule and the villa in Manuel Antonio was amazing. Wasn't planning on having howler monkeys in the trees above the villa. We also saw scarlet macaw, yellow throated toucan, hummingbirds and black spiny-tailed iguana while at the pool area of the villa. We had two days of fishing, caught mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna and a sailfish. Both fishing charters were very professional and put in the work to land fish knowing it was just family fun for us. The domestic flight back to San Jose was so nice, the green of the tropical forest, rivers flowing out of the mountains and views of the pacific coast added to our adventure. Costa Rica is such a beautiful place. Big thanks again for everything CAF, my vacation planning was stress free this year! Looking forward to more adventures in Costa Rica. Gerald Hurd

Unbelievable day on the water! If you are looking for a top-tier fishing experience in Belize, Central America Fishing is the absolute way to go. We had an incredible day out on the boat near Placencia. Our boat captain was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where the fish were biting. The action was non-stop! We had a blast reeling in a mix of hard-fighting Barracuda, beautiful Red and Yellowtail Snappers, and plenty of Jacks. The boat captain and guide was fantastic and their local expertise made the trip seamless and fun!

Chris, Can't thank you enough for the particularly detailed attention you gave us! The planning and organization of our itinerary was far better than any other agency we have used. Being able to pick up the phone and ask questions directly was most rewarding as we are of the age that a direct conversation gets way more done than emails. I have used many booking agencies and yours is the best and most "user friendly" I've ever been around. The fishing, guides, and accommodations were all top notch. Amazing vacations made easy. I have been on three vacations planned by Chris and the team at Central America Fishing. The fact that I'm already planning my fourth and fifth should say it all. Each one of them has been beautifully planned and wonderfully executed. From the detailed itinerary in hand before you leave home, to the in-country contact when you need to get flexible, these are vacations you enjoy rather than worry about pulling off. One of my favorite experiences, among so many great ones, was when a domestic flight got cancelled the night before we were to move within Costa Rica. In under 8 hours we had a private van picking us up and taking us to the jungle where we got a jungle boat river cruise to our next destination. These are the services that make CAF my go to for family, and individual vacations in Central America. And that doesn't even get into the fishing, which has been amazing.

Pacific Fins was a great resort with excellent food, great accommodations, and very attentive staff. The Maverick and her crew were top notch. They put me on fish the entire time and customized each day of fishing to match my goals of getting the slam on a fly rod. Chris with Central American Fishing was amazing to work with. We had a wonderful time in Los Sueños and will definitely be back. We fished on the wing man and we caught 6 sailfish one day. Th next day we caught jacks, snapper and rooster fish.

Three of us just got back from our second excursion with Central American Fishing. This trip we scheduled 5 days fishing at Zancudo Lodge near Golfito, Costa Rica. It was a fabulous fishing trip and a 1st class place to stay and experience Costa Rican hospitality. I’ve been asked how many fish we caught and I really can’t answer. After the first day, we lost count. We had 2 doubles on Sailfish, 2 doubles on Yellowfin Tuna, 1 triple and 2 doubles on Roosterfish. Additionally, we caught Cuberra Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowtail snapper, Mullet Snapper, etc. I believe it was day two we caught 6 Yellowfin Tuna (the largest 140lbs), 4 sailfish. We then went inside and caught 9 Roosterfish and 4 Cuberra Snapper - all in one day. They literally work hard to get you on fish. Tito, our guide, has been there 27 years. We left the dock every day at 6:00AM and most days got back to the dock around 4:45 PM-5:00 PM. It’s a full day of fishing. This is a first class fishing operation. The lodging is excellent and meals are fabulous. I also have to mention the Costa Rican people are very friendly and do everything they can to make sure you have a good trip. I can recommend this trip highly. We are even considering going back in February, 2027.

We had an awesome overall experience utilizing CAF for our honeymoon itinerary! Utilizing the WhatsApp communication real time throughout the trip was super helpful to ask any questions as they came up and we got really quick, helpful responses. Big win! We really enjoyed all our transport drivers and were very impressed how on time, professional, knowledgeable and nice they all were. This made our trip so smooth knowing we had reliable transportation along the way! Overall, great hotel picks and really smooth transportation. Even down to the small plane from Quepos to San Jose -we enjoyed the 15 min plane ride compared to a long car ride! Manuel Antonio was definitely our favorite leg of the trip and we are hoping to return again soon for more adventures so hopefully we can stay in touch!! Thanks so much for putting such care into our itinerary and making our honeymoon all we could have hoped for! Would 10/10 use CAF again 😊

Just wanted to take a moment to let you know that Ryan, Tom and I had a fabulous time on the Pesca Panama Floating Lodge. Everything was perfect as usual, the transfers, flights, hotel, food and rooms on the boat and all of the staff went above and beyond. The whole trip was first class. The fishing was spectacular we lost count of all the different species that we caught. Thank you and Dakota for all of your hard work and making our trip so memorable. Chris always does a fantastic job to meet all our needs, great company to work with!

You and your team of folks did a fantastic job setting this trip up. The logistics and coordination were fantastic! The peacock bass trip was great! The river trip for tarpon: The bite was a bit off but Rich joined us personally and more that made up for the bite being off with his tour guide abilities and scenery. Rich is an absolute blast to hang out with for the day. We felt like we were on a Panama history and nature tour all wrapped up in one. David: Seagull Cove is fantastic! The food and service is outstanding. We started off with an in shore fish trip. The guides from Come Fish Panama were fantastic. Worked very hard. The boat was very nice, fast and clean. We ended up having a great bite on the full day. The guides worked very hard and put us on a 200+# tuna and 3 others that were in the 80 - 100 # range. We were exhausted after that and trolled for sails and marlin the rest of the day. We had some follows but did not hook up. The weather and seas were too nice, so the ride in was fantastic and we ended up having some time to inshore fish for a bit. All in all it was a GREAT day and both Jodi and my arms are longer after the tuna experience. All in all from the travel, the greeters, drivers, guides, lodging and attention to detail we rate it as an A. Thank you!

Hi Chris, We had a fantastic time. We really enjoyed the hot springs and are glad we started there. It was very low key and relaxing, as well as beautiful. Fishing on the coast was amazing. The first day of fishing, Randy caught 9 Sail fish. It was great. The next day we fished closer to shore. I caught a huge rooster fish. Not only was it big, but it was the first fish I've caught in my life. I like watching Randy catch them and taking photos. However, I had a great time, and Randy may have some competition next time. We went out 4 times, and every day was very busy. On the last day Randy caught two huge Dorados. Thank you to Manuel and his deck hand for showing us a great time. When we got home, we decided we need to save money, so we can come again. The drivers we had going from place to place were great. Always on time and very friendly. Thank you for planning such an awesome trip for our 50th anniversary!! We loved every minute of it. Thank you so much, Randy and Claudia Tower

What a trip -we didn't want to leave Costa Rica! From the accommodations, tours, & adventures to the pickups/dropoffs, everything was perfectly coordinated. It definitely made the week stress-free. And, of course, the fishing...exceeded our expectations for sure. The sailfish and mahi mahi cooperated nicely! Using the Quepos airport was a great way to return to San Jose airport as well! Overall you & your team put together a fantastic vacation for us...we're already looking at where you can take us next! :) Pura Vida!!

We had a wonderful trip with Central America Fishing. Chris was detailed and thorough in his explanation of our trip to Guatemala We stayed at Casa Vieja fishing lodge. The accommodations were top notch with service that went above and beyond. The food was delicious and plentiful. The fishing from the nearby port to Casa Vieja was exceptional. Our boat captain, Franz, and mates, Lenny and Bria, could not have done more to make our trip memorable. We caught and released 15 sailfish our first day. More were caught the second day, including a marlin. The third outing was spent bottom fishing where our catch included red snapper, grouper, and triggerfish. Our stay in Antigua was so pleasant. We loved the hotel, San Rafael, and felt right at home with the staff there. They were helpful and courteous. The location was perfect as we could walk anywhere in the old city. We hope to return next year. Thank you.

We had an amazing trip. My kids and parents are now in love with Costa Rica as much as we are. The condo was amazing as well as the golf carts. Faith was excited to catch her first sailfish. She jumped to the chair when it was my turn and said I got this one too. My father and Ian are already wanting to plan for them to go next year. The entire family loved hanging at the beach club and doing the cocoa tour. We all loved the Costa cat. You and your team did an amazing job planning this trip. Captain Mike and Jossi were just amazing. I even caught a turtle. All the other captains were laughing and saying now can offer turtle petting.

Hi Chris! Back in Costa Rica at Los Suenos for the third time, and like the other visits set up by Central American Fishing, everything was exceptional. Met at the airport on arrival, shuttled to the Hampton Inn for the first night, then private transport to Los Suenos to our Del Mar Condo. The golf cart got us around and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the condo pools and the Beach Club. We fished two days offshore with the Good Day Too. The seas on the first day may have kept a lesser boat at the dock – but the capable boat and Captain Esteban along with mate Carlos had us on our first sailfish by 8:30! Twelve more sails and a 15KG mahi were caught that day. What a great day! Our second day offshore brought 7 more sailfish. 20 sails in 2 days – we were pretty pleased with that! 20 sails in 2 days, which included 3 double-headers! Our half-day inshore fishing in challenging seas with Captain Jason on the Take It Easy was fun – we each got a rooster. We also boated a jack crevalle and a needlefish. Once again, a first-class experience with CAF. Looking forward to doing it again!

This was a great vacation. Our son really enjoyed himself and said this was like a once in a lifetime bucket list fishing trip. Hoping to do it again one of these days. Amazing to tell people we caught 14 sailfish in 2 days!! The condo was great. Didn’t realize we’d have cleaning services, so nice to have someone come in and make the beds, empty the dishwasher and wash our towels. Having the chefs coming in to make our breakfast was a nice touch but too much food!!! We definitely needed the golf cart to navigate the resort and having the ability to use it to go to the grocery store and the beachfront restaurants was really nice. The guys enjoyed the golf course and “donated” many golf balls to the surrounding woods and water. Central American Fishing is definitely the way to go for a fabulous fishing vacation. .

First time to CR and with CAF. They say that the devil is in the details. CAF crushes the details. Lodging, multiple private shuttle pickups, fishing charters, restaurant reservations. ALL spot on ! It's like going on a cruise except you are land based. EVERYTHING is taken care of and done right. We caught sails up to 8'. Swam in our private pool overlooking the ocean while macaws and howlers gave us a concert. What a great time. We'll be back. Thanks Chris and CAF. T. Floden
