I had them come out for a quote on a new garage door opener as mine was on the fritz. Two guys came out, and told me they could diagnose the issues for $160 but that they don’t carry the parts as it’s not worth it for them to do business with the manufacturer (Marantec). They said it was likely the motor and sensor and at that point it would be better just to replace the whole opener at a cost of $970. Also told me a hinge was broken and as they were leaving even the younger guy asked if they were going to fix it and the older guy was like no, let’s go. They had no interest being at my home and were pretty short and rude the whole time.
Well, the good news is the lady who answered the phone when I called for an appointment told me they didn’t carry Marantec parts so in an effort to figure out someone who did, I called Marantec directly. The customer service agent within 4 questions and less than 5 minutes diagnosed and sent me an email to check for a bracket on the chain as she was 99% certain it was this small bracket that cost $2.
Sure enough, my bracket was broken and this weekend the new bracket arrived, I installed it, and the whole unit works like it is supposed to.
So either the guys at CP have no business working on Marantec openers as they have no idea what common issues they actually have or the whole conversation about it being all these expensive parts was just an effort to get $160 for the diagnosis and then upsell me the $1,000 new unit. Either way, the whole exchange left me not trusting this company.
Our garage spring broke on our main garage on a Friday afternoon. We called Cedar Park Overhead Doors and they put us on the schedule for Saturday afternoon. Turns out, they were short handed, but they still came though to fix our door. Rolando came to our home nearly at dark, and installed the necessary springs, adjusted, and lubricated the door. He was gracious and efficient. What made this more incredible was that Rolando had already checked out of work and was headed home when he got the call! Great service and a fair price is what makes Cedar Park Overhead Doors awesome.

Excellent service from the sales department to the techs Nate S and Luke P that came out. They did an amazing job. We purchased a LiftMaster 98022 Door opener for both of our garage doors. It’s amazing! It’s quiet, has Wi-Fi and a backup battery in case the electricity goes out.
We did have to get an electrician to put in outlets near the side of the garage door and run the low voltage lines for the opener remote and eyes. Surprisingly, not many electricians do low-voltage🤔. Nate S was awesome in explaining on how everything worked. He originally came out to assess my issue with the door, not properly opening. I felt he was very honest and explained everything in detail of what the problem was. Will definitely use these guys again for our garage needs.

Cedar Park Overhead Doors installed our garage door opener when we moved into our home 14 years ago and it is still working great. However, just the other day the door wouldn’t close. I got it down and then it seemed to work but not all the time. I called for an appointment and Logan arrived this morning as scheduled. The door worked fine and he made one small tweak to the sensor alignment and explained how to override it if it happened again. He also explained how to determine the error code if it happens again and to call if it does. Logan was very courteous and gave very clear guidance. I highly recommend Cedar Park Overhead D and Logan.
Cedar Park Overhead Doors were recommended by several neighbors. I called them about a garage door opener replacement. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to be at my house within a day. The install technician, Logan, was friendly and courteous. He had the new garage door opener installed in no time. Logan took the time to explain how to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi and he answered a couple questions I had. I highly recommend Cedar Park Overhead Doors!
