An excellent coliving experience in the Peloponnese! The location is beautiful and peaceful, with reliable, fast Wi-Fi that made remote work easy. The large garden is perfect for breathing exercises, Pilates, and outdoor activities, while the shared BBQ area creates a wonderful community atmosphere. The beach is within walking distance, and a stunning natural thermal spring is just 10 minutes away with the community e-bikes. Highly recommended for remote workers and nature lovers! 🌿
I booked a 10-day stay at Cavo Petra in Methana for August 2025 at 116€ per night without breakfast, and it was a huge disappointment. The place is overpriced and not family-friendly.
The website is misleading, with fake JavaScript pop-ups claiming “someone else is booking right now.” On arrival, the room had no mosquito screens, so every night was full of insects — not ideal when traveling with a toddler. The 3-bed room was just a double bed plus a sofa that couldn’t support an adult. Water pressure was poor (the owner told me to “ask the municipality”), the fridge barely worked, and there was no mini-kitchen or sink. The door lock was faulty, and when I asked for help, the owner dismissed it as “squeaking from the heat.” Pillows and mattresses were low quality, adding to the discomfort.
The garden view was nice, but ruined by the owner’s sick cat and its feces scattered around — I had to constantly watch my child not to step on them.
Overall: overpriced, deceptive, poorly maintained. Stay away.

Richtig tolle Unterkunft, Tony und Ioanna sind tolle Gastgeber und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich toll, alle Zimmer haben einen Meerblick. Es gibt die Möglichkeit E-Bikes zu mieten und die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Die Mineralquellen sind in der Nähe. Tolle Lage. Ich komme ganz sicher wieder.

participate a wellness retreat last Autumn,18 persons in total
in the middle of nature with absolute peace and relaxation! Our daily
bath in the natural thermal springs and the Ancient Greek massage were
special! Greek cuisine with fresh salads and local wine! We highly

We are vanlifers and digital nomads, traveling in our van with my partner. This winter, we found ourselves in Greece, and in November, we adopted a puppy. The cold and rainy season, combined with the arrival of our little four-legged companion, made us realize we needed a break from vanlife—somewhere quiet and comfortable where we could rest and give our pup some stability.
We were looking for a peaceful place with a garden, and Cavo Petra turned out to be the perfect choice. We had a spacious and cozy room with a beautiful garden, making it easy to take our puppy out at any time of the day or night. From the garden, we could enjoy breathtaking views of the sea, and the surrounding area was simply stunning—ideal for hiking, whether through volcanic landscapes or along the scenic coastline.
Just 8 km away, the charming little town of Methana became our go-to spot for shopping and cozy café visits. And for those who love exploring, the picturesque town of Galatas is only 20 km away, where you can catch a short ferry ride to the lovely island of Poros.
We spent a month at Cavo Petra, and it truly felt like a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle, yet surrounded by incredible nature. The hosts Ioanna & Tony were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. If you're looking for a quiet retreat where you can unwind and connect with nature, we highly recommend Cavo Petra!

ΑΙΣΧΟΣ.Οι χειρότεροι....πήγα στα Μέθανα για θεραπευτικούς σκοπούς λόγω προβλήματος υγείας.Και δυστυχώς έπεσα σε Απατεώνες.εχω κρατήσει ακόμα από το 2014 στην Alpha Bank την απόδειξη της κατάθεσης 250 ευρώ για 5/7-13/7 2014. Τελικά με άσχημους τρόπους συμπεριφοράς λες κ ήμουν σε θρίλερ με έκαναν να φύγω.Αντι για 8 ημέρες κάθησα 4 μέρες.Το πρωινό ήταν μέσα στην μούχλα το βούτυρο.Η απόδειξη που έκοψε γράφει ψέματα 3/7/2014.Ομως έχω αποδείξεις κ από τα Διόδια.Εφαγα μια φορά μεσημεριανό διότι με πίεσαν κ πλήρωσα 14 ευρώ. Μου έκοψε για απόδειξη ένα κόκκινο μπακαλοχαρτο.Ειστε Ξευτιλες ρε.Που θα μας απειλησετε;....

Προτεινουμε να συνεχισετε τις θεραπειες σας σε καποιο αλλο μερος,ποιο καταλληλο για την περιπτωση σας.Τα τουριστικα καταλλυματα δεν ειναι θεραπευτικα κεντρα,ειναι χωρος αναψυχης και φιλοξενιας.Να ειστε καλα !
The entire experience was delightful, particularly due to the manager's remarkable politeness and friendliness. The stunning beach view added an extra layer of beauty, and the staff's exceptional cooperation made everything even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this astounding place.

My stay at the beach Cavo Petra was pure bliss! The tranquil atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sound of waves was a dream, and the beachfront access was a major highlight. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating escape!
