The market tour was fun and, as a regular shopper, learned new parts of the market and places to eat
The cooking class was fun and well organized. The mix of students from several countries made for a really fun cross cultural experience.
David, the chef, was masterful at timing and handing out jobs so that the food was delicious, fun to make, and came together fo a wonderful meal.
And all the staff were lovely and helpful and full of joy. We will be back with lots of visitors.
It was just the two of us, and David was a good instructor to work with and answered all of our questions. The space was clean and nicely organized. We learned about the history of Pepian and took away some great recipes we'll definitely make at home! We also took home plenty of left overs. All staff members were professional and kind, and they gave us a free ride to our next destination. Also, in regards to going above and beyond, my friend and I were an hour late due to poor trip planning and traffic, and they still said we could do the class, offered us free beverages, and came out to find us in the main square when we couldn't find their location.
An awesome must-have experience in Antigua!
David picked us up from the city center and brought us to the home, and it was such an awesome experience learning about the cooking styles and history behind the dish. We sure learned so much. The food turned out so delicious. We got to eat our meal in a private dining room and were offered coffee and hibiscus tea.
David and his team definitely made us feel invited and comfortable to ask all the questions we had.
I had great class! I took the 3 course options, it was all together 2 hours, including hotel pick up and drive which is great. David and Itsa were super friendly. I happened to had a private tour so it was also very nice, I participate in the ingredients making and the cooking itself, the process was explained and I felt comfortable to ask questions. The food is traditional so it was fun to try it! I'm vegan and the class was adjustable great for it. Highly recommend
