It was nice and quiet at the villa itself with restaurants in walking distance and easy access ti feungirola or Malaga. We stayed for a golf holiday & it was perfect location. Would stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Mijas! Jon and Rima were brilliant hosts – so welcoming and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Beaches were close by, and there were plenty of great restaurants in the area to choose from.We hired a car and explored Marbella, Fuengirola, and enjoyed an amazing morning of local flamenco dancing. Everything was so easy thanks to our hosts’ tips and recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend.

The apartment is in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, perfect for a relaxing break. The first thing I noticed when walking in was how clean it was. The kitchen had everthing you needed for a self-catering stay. The terrace was equipped with comfortable sunbeds and furniture including an enormous umbrella. Rima and John were the perfect hosts, on hand to offer recomendations and help when needed. There are a few beaches that you can walk to from the property, but a car is ideal to really explore the area. The swiming pool and gardens were beautiful. I would not hesitate to recomend and hope to return one day!

Would not hesitate to recommend staying in this fabulous home. Everything as described in the listing. Like all the other reviews Rima and John were fantastic hosts and having them around definitely enhanced our stay. Local knowledge and recommendations shared along with a genuine willingness to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We chose not to rent a car and used the Uber/Bolt services to get us to the bigger beach most days. However the little one within walking distance is literally on your doorstep. Couple of days by the pool were quiet and relaxing. Loungers and chairs offered perfect spots to enjoy the sun or the shade through the day. Lovely home. Lovely people. Lovely location.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in deze Airbnb! De hosts waren ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Tijdens een stroomstoring hielden ze ons op de hoogte van de situatie, boden ze aan om ons naar de supermarkt te brengen (wij hadden zelf geen auto o.i.d.) en kregen we kaarsjes in de avond. Daarnaast was het een dag erg regenachtig en toen boden ze ook aan om ons bij het dichtbijgelegen shopping mall af te zetten. Als laatste gaven ze goede tips voor activiteiten - echt top service en heel meedenkend. De accommodatie zelf was mooi en schoon, met een heerlijk zwembad en alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden, zoals een goede airco, een strijkijzer en een goed voorziene keuken.De omgeving is mooi en rustig, al ligt het wel wat verder van een echte stad en heb je eigenlijk een auto nodig om rond te komen. Eén minpuntje: we hebben in huis twee kakkerlakken gezien. Desondanks is het een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een ontspannen verblijf met gastvrije hosts.

We have just returned from a week’s stay and it was AMAZING! The home is beautiful, lots of space and clean. The pool is warm and right next to the apartment. The location is peaceful and walkable to the beach as well as some bars and restaurants and a shop. La Cala beach is just a 5 minute drive and it’s beautiful as well as Fuengirola nearby. Rima & Jon are exceptional hosts, they went above and beyond for our stay and helped with medicine when I was poorly on the first day. They are very kind and helpful and we felt instantly at home! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you both so much! X

10/10 - would highly recommend!! The apartment is even better than the photos - immaculate inside and out! Rima & Jon where the perfect hosts, attentive & friendly. The apartment is the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet whilst being 5 mins drive to the hustle & bustle of local towns such as La Cala de Mijas & Fungeriola! We absolutely loved our stay & couldn't fault it, and would definitely stay again if we were in the Costa del sol area!

The accommodation and location are what we wanted: lovely and peaceful. My children had a great time, especially at the swimming pool.Accommodation was very suitable for our needs.Jon & Rima were fantastic hosts, very responsive with communication, and flexible for check-in as we were on an early flight. Just back from a very relaxing week at John & Rima's apartment. It exceeded expectations. Such beautiful gardens and pool. Very private but also great to interact and meet other neighbours at the pool. House was spotless and well kitted out with everything you'd need. Air con in every room was so nice !! A 10/10 stay. Would love to go back.
