I am so glad I found Casakeepers! They handled 6 badly needed repairs at an old family farm. Paint, fencing, new gutters, tore out a rotted deck and rotted porch and replaced old interior doors. Also replaced an old well house that had seen better days. I’ve done many remodels and repairs here over the years but always had to find subcontractors myself and kind of a piecemeal approach. I could not be happier with the work they did. Loved having BJ as supervisor and felt he had things well in control. I will definitely hire them again!

Working with Casa Keepers has been a pleasant and productive experience in every way during the renovation of our townhome in Kerrville. My wife Ann and I have both been long-time DIY-ers, who have high expectations and in the past we have often been frustrated with contracting out tasks piecemeal (in other words, serving as the general contractor ourselves). With this job, we were able to avoid those frustrations and let Casa Keepers take care of the work. Below are our thoughts on Casa Keepers in a few categories of task management and execution:
CLARITY
We were able to establish a clear definition of the work to be done, the process, and timeline to be implemented to complete the work. When the inevitable unexpected problems (or things that turned out not to be problems) showed up during the work, their plan made it clear from the start what we should expect. If we thought of something that we wanted to change from the original plan, we knew ahead of time whether it would be covered or would constitute a change in the scope of work and a cost increase or decrease.
COMMUNICATION
Casa Keepers provided updates on the work (including pictures through the CompanyCam web tool) and answered all questions promptly. We were given a primary point of contact to communicate with, so there was never a scramble to find the right person for a given subject.
CRAFTMANSHIP
We are so pleased with quality of the work done on our townhome. All tasks (painting, replacing doors, replacing floors, kitchen counters and tile, upgrading electrical components, ) were completed to high standards that exceeded our expectations (and our own personal DIY skills). They also willingly worked with us for offbeat things we wanted, such as antique ceiling fans and light fixtures we brought from our old home instead of modern replacements.
COMMITMENT
In addition to the defined tasks, Casa Keepers solved some unexpected challenges that we encountered. In short, they went above and beyond our expectations and were very generous in helping create the end goal we envisioned.
THE PEOPLE
What a pleasant group of people to work with! We don’t know the names of all the artisans who worked so hard to create our lovely home for us, but here’s a few: Gabe and Julie who provided the initial consultations and created the scope of work; BJ, who was our primary contact, on-site manager and all-around problem solver; Painting Angels, including Antoinette and Teresa; Electrical by Texas Residential Services- Jason and others; Eric at Crew plumbing, plus Justin, Gene, and Chad who all provided valued work and information along the way.

Over the last few weeks, I have had the company of Casa Keepers come to my house to do a renovation of my master closet and replace countertops and backsplash in my kitchen. Given some past experiences with workers in my home, I was not looking forward to this. Too often, I've dealt with dishonest or unfriendly people.
I have to say, however, that I am extremely pleased with the workers who came, and with the quality of the job they produced. They were efficient, friendly, polite, and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Best of all my closet now is about double the size it was, and has all the revisions I asked them to make. And in doing this, they had to move my potty area and rework another closet in order to have space. I must say it was a beautiful job.
Keegan was excellent in organizing the project and kept it all working smoothly. He was always just a phone call away if I had questions. Justin, the electrician, was amazing with the quality of work he did, his attitude about the work, was efficient and very knowledgeable. And, the plumber was also excellent and very knowledgeable.

CasaKeepers just completed two major projects for us. We planned and contracted for the remodeling of our bathrooms. Unfortunately, just as work was about to begin on the first bathroom, we incurred whole-house damage caused by a water heater leak.
We called CasaKeepers and they appeared at our home immediately and helped protect our belongings and assess the damage. We decided that having CasaKeepers do the damage restoration simultaneously with the remodeling was our best solution. They worked carefully to plan and stage the work on both projects to allow us to remain in our home by remodeling/repairing one end of the house at a time.
Keegan was an amazing lead carpenter who managed every detail and kept us informed daily regarding which contractor(s) would be working in our home. He monitored the quality of the work and required the correction of any deficiency. His “yes sir/yes ma’am” approach to any request was greatly appreciated. His commitment to providing a quality product was key to our absolute confidence in a successful outcome.
Working with the entire CasaKeepers team was a pleasure – always responsive and helpful. Justin, the electrician, was skilled and accommodating to some of our unique requirements and always insisted on “doing the job right.” The office team (Chad, Ben, Gabe, Lauren) were always quick to address any questions or needs.
We would definitely call CasaKeepers again for any future project. Selecting CasaKeepers as our general contractor was one of the best decisions we’ve made.

CasaKeepers did a bathroom remodel for us to accommodate a roll-in shower. They worked with us to figure out what would work with our needs and also our wants (like maintaining a tub next to the shower space).
Julie was amazing at hearing our vision and putting it into reality. She took inspiration pictures from us and helped us pick materials to achieve the feel and look we were going for.
Keegan was an awesome project leader throughout the whole construction phase. He coordinated all the different teams that came and worked on our bathroom and could always answer any questions we had.
The communication throughout the entire process from design to install was through-the-roof phenomenal. Julie was always there to answer questions/advise us and make changes if needed to the design before finalizing it. Keegan always kept us in the loop about what was happening, when, and what people would be coming and going throughout the install.
Gene did a wonderful job with the drywall and painting and checked with us to make sure we liked the texture on the painting he had done before he wrapped up.
CasaKeepers and their contracted workers (like plumbers and glass installers) were always polite and considerate of our home.
The install process was very clean! Keegan and team did a great job laying down floor covers and sealing in the work area during the dusty portions of the job.
There was one thing that needed a slight fix after the installation was complete and Keegan and Philip (the glass installer) took care of it so quickly.

It was completed very efficiently and timely. Gabe was an excellent Project Designer. He remembers details, and he always took extra care to make sure that everything was the way I wanted. He was always respectful of me and my home. BJ has worked on several of my projects, but never as the Project Manager. He was a great PM! He always answered my calls and texts or returned them right away. He was very present during the entire project and handled all aspects of the build beautifully. My project officially began on December 9, 2024. The exterior wall of my kitchen was remodeled to accommodate 4 windows instead of 2. BJ, the project supervisor, kept the job on schedule and emailed me a complete update each Friday. Jaden was the main carpenter and his work was excellent. We choose to use Casa Keepers for our kitchen and bathrooms remodel. We liked their web site. We also liked the initial meeting where their process was explained, and general costs discussed. We wanted a general contractor to ensure high quality craft and efficient scheduling and project execution. It was important to us to have an expert managing craft to make sure craft work was done correctly. We also liked the idea of Casa Keepers providing a design team to help choose colors, stiles and bring the latest ideas to our remodel.
The project started slowly as the design was made more difficult because it took weeks to get samples of tile and counter tops in the home. The designer met several times with us during the process as selections were made and options evaluated. The results however, were worth the time in design. The final product exceeded expectations as coordination between floors, countertops, backsplash tile and cabinet color are outstanding.
We were pleased Casa Keepers was able to provide high quality craft partners. The craft were on site when expected and coordination performed by the project superintendent provided for a smooth flow of work. I have listed and graded quality of performance for each craft selected by Casa Keepers.

The project was provided a goal that it would finish before Christmas. We authorized the project to start on September 25th. Demolition began on November 11th. The inconvenience, of using a “secondary” kitchen and bathrooms that were being worked on during the remodel, lasted 6 weeks. The project was completed on December 18th & final cleaning was performed on December 20th.
The Casa Keepers project superintendent was our direct project contact and provided us with written weekly progress reports on Fridays that included forecasted activities for the next week. The dust control measures installed included tenting of the kitchen, floor coverings throughout the paths to construction areas, and routine changing HVAC filters. As with any construction, the project superintendent set expectations of the craft team and provided leadership in performance. Pictures were taken during progress and the few issues were resolved in real time. For example, when plumbers reported the old garbage disposal was cracked and should not be re-installed, our superintendent (Keegan) had a new disposal on site within an hour which resulted in no delay in plumber activities. Keegan’s performance throughout was outstanding. Also of note was that we lost temporary lights in our master bathroom on a Friday night and Justin came out on a Saturday and fixed them. It is this type of customer care that makes Casa Keepers worth every penny.

Our goals were to improve the function of the master suite and guest bathroom due to Otheil's Parkinson's disease and general aging of us both. We searched on -line, and we left our information with different remodeling companies. CasaKeepers, LLC responded the next day. So began our journey to new, beautiful, and comfortable spaces that will extend our time in the dream home where we have lived for thirty years.
Chad and Ben came to our home, completely understood our goal, and continued to express sympathy to Otheil's disease. We reviewed the specifications in their office. All the contractors involved met at our home where we discussed the areas we needed changed. This was a great plan to meet with all on the same day.
We were introduced to B J Rodriquez and Taryn McNeil, who would be leading the many aspects of this project. BJ was knowledgeable and followed through on the most minute details. He was open to any questions, whether in person or on the phone. I believe he was the right person for all we were looking for. He readily handled a flooring issue in a timely and professional manner. He was always pleasant and enjoyed whatever task he was getting accomplished. I would highly recommend BJ for the various skills he has and his friendly, helpful attitude.
As the designer chosen to work on our home, Taryn seemed to be able to read my mind in making selections for floor tile, shower tile, paint, lighting, and hardware; these items add the beauty and comfort to the master suite and guest bath. Using her excellent taste and broad resources, we stayed within our budget and time frame. We are extremely pleased with how well each area functions when using a walker for movement, and the overall details of beauty and comfort we enjoy. I would truly contact her in the future for design plans.
As the separate teams came with their own expertise, I observed top-notch workmanship in painting, plumbing, flooring, and especially, Justin trying to solve a mysterious electricity problem.
It was sincerely a pleasure working with each and every one, who worked on this remodeling project through the CasaKeepers, LLC from beginning to finishing on schedule.
