Fantastic service from Steve and the team. My son’s Toyota HiLux clutch is like brand new. After a breakdown on Monday morning the vehicle was towed to Carter’s following a pre-call in advance. Graham from the team was ready with the work order all prepared. A full clutch repair was undertaken and upon collection today Steve talked through the damaged clutch with my son showing where it failed to drive. The vehicle was ready to collect Thursday afternoon - amazing service - thoroughly recommend this business.
Just had my clutch replaced in my Suzuki Grand Vitara took it in at 10am and was ready to pick up at 3.30pm. Carters had the clutch in stock and they finished a lot earlier than expected and took $200 off the original quote. They did a great job no dramas. Staff very very friendly and helpful. Mechanic showed me the old clutch plate and pointed out the worn areas. I had previously rung SUZUKI Rutherford they wanted $200 a hour and would have had to order a clutch from Bradford's Newcastle and it would have taken 2 days. Great job guys.

After 2 months of taking my car back.
Still had no brakes, brakes squealing bad & then losing brakes all together. This after spending a considerable amount of money to have the job done right .
Manager responded with “ I’ve got nothing “
Yes you have mate.
My money & me , no brakes.
Not long after the Adamstown shop is no more, gone.
Never again!

The owner spoke to you on Friday (after trying many times to get in touch with you) to see how your car was going and to advise we had ordered in parts from America to help fix your car. You advised us another mechanic had fixed the problem and everything was fine. We are happy you got you car sorted but if you have any further issues we are happy to help. We have closed our Adamstown store due to end of lease but our East Maitland store is here to help. We are sorry for your bad experience.
I highly recommend carters clutch and brake...dual plate clutch on my monaro and brakes..Expert freindly service .I am in the industry and wouldnt trust anyone else with my vehicles clutch and brake needs thankyou..

Everyone was lovely at Carter's Clutch. They got my car back on the road ASAP. Great communication and they took the time to explain the new parts and on collection showing us the parts that came out and how they where damaged. If we need assistance again I now know the 1st place to call.

Great Service! I rang Carters and spoke with Graham, filled him in about clutch issues I was having with my 2012 DMAX. The guys checked the clutch and let me know what was required before doing any extra. As a result a new clutch was fitted all within a 6 hour period. I mentioned to Graham that we were heading off on a long road trip (within days) and he slotted us in earlier than first scheduled. Cannot recommend Graham and Carter's enough. Thanks!

Great service. Flywheel machined same day within the hour and then were happy to talk on the phone following day to answer a few questions on installation. Definitely would recommend!
