Overall: As I said,, looks cool but overall experience is worse Pros: Software looks very nice but they will take you clients data base once you decide to leave them ,,cannot download your complete data base of clients. Cons: They are user friendly software in the market why to stick with poor customer service ,,plus one man show

An excellent product
Overall: Very positive, good tool, and someone actually answers the phone when you call their office - amazing! Pros: The thoroughness of the report. I get complemented frequently on the report looks, features, and layout. Cons: Somewhat steep learning curve, but worth it in the long run.

Exceptional Customer Service
Overall: Harizons support team takes the time to listen to my issues and provided clear, concise answers to all of my questions. What truly stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my issue was resolved promptly and to my understanding. Pros: I must say that this software was not difficult learn in the begining and has proven to be an easy read for my clients. It's user friendly interface, customization, comprehensive reporting, reliability and excellent customer support make it a top choice for any home inspection company seeking a powerful inspection software solution. Cons: No comments at this time. I haven't experienced it yet.

The beauty of horizon
Overall: So far, it has been good using horizon. Pros: It is easy to use and to navigate through. The generated reports from horizon are neat and not too busy as I have seen with other reporting tool. Cons: Inability to introduce personal or external illustrations other than what is in horizon. The issue of distorting my photos when I load it without working on the size. It usually lead to waste of time for me editing my photos and increase the time for me to turn out my report.

Overall: I found Horizon software system user friendly and the staff very helpful Pros: The reporting software is a very profession system and I found the [sensitive content hidden] staff were always very obliging and extremely helpful and patient in providing a resolution to my problem. Cons: I did not find the software difficult to use and found it was an easy transition into my inspection system.

Horizon is above the rest!
Overall: I have loved my experience with Horizon! I have learned methods over the years how to make the best looking reports. It's taken some time but once you learn little tricks, it makes for a wonderful presentation. Also, I have been super impressed with their customer service! Anytime I send an email, they usually answer back within an hour. I've also never seen a company so committed to YOUR success. The owner(s) of the company often do live webinars to help train you better how to use and implement the software to improve your workflow and build your company. It really is an amazing system. Pros: Horizon is easy to use, easy to integrate, easy to navigate and easy to modify. Reports look super professional and client's and realtors are always pleased with the ease of navigation and the overall appearance. I love the ability to add or remove the images that are preloaded into Horizon. It really makes for a beautiful and informative report. Cons: I don't like some of the imbedded coding. For example, when I add my own comments, or my own defect, sometimes it comes out weird in the report. It will put one line at the very bottom of a page and then kick it to the next page. I do like that. Also, I would like to be able to change the size of images in the report, both the photos I take, but also the images that are available to add. Sometimes you get two of those photos on a page and that's all. It would be nice to be able to make two of the preloaded pictures fit side by side.

Unique in My Area
Overall: There was a month or so when the desktop Offline version wasn't working and it took several calls to Support to get it going again. Pros: I started using Horizon about 7 years ago. It took a few reports to get the hang of it, Like any others.What i like the most is the way it fills in my writing that I have already written before. I also like the way I can work on it with my laptop when I dont have internet access. I like the descktop version. I do 99% of the reports ont he desktop version and then go into the online version to finish up. Cons: I have asked before if there was a way to start a new section without it going to the next Page. It leaves a big blank area and makes the report look longer. To me, I don't care, but I get comments back from realtors about how long they are.

Horizon software powerful and amazing software
Overall: Horizon help desk is awesome every time I have called they have helped me and guided me through with the issues that I was having. And have called back when I have left messages in reference to issues and not leave you hanging! Pros: Horizon software is very easy to use and has awesome templates to make your reports Stand out. You can upload your own items such as photos, also you can use the illustrations that are provided in the software that looks amazing when added to the report. The speed write section is awesome once you get it down. This is a very powerful tool once you get everything down. Cons: The downside is unable to edit with the program on you devices have to wait until I get back home and connect with my laptop, and also add function like low, medium, and high priority items, but other than that awesome product.

The best full service inspection software.
Overall: Horizon realizes more than any other software that time is precious, whether yours or your clients and is laser focused on saving it. They are constantly upgrading the system with an eye towards making things easier and faster while not sacrificing the end product. My typical day includes 2 inspections with reports on site averaging 3-4 hours at each inspection, answering the phone, booking new inspections and travelling on average 300-400 km. There is no way I could do it without Horizon. Pros: The mobile app is fast and responsive. The report writes itself as you do the inspection.Everything is integrated, once information is entered in the work order Horizon looks after everything from contracts to reminder and follow up emails. Less time spent on the booking and administration side of the business means more time inspecting and with clients. I also like the all in pricing. I get access to all Horizon's features for one price. Cons: There have been recent issues with photo upload in the app. Hopefully short lived.The booking side of the system needs updating to a more mobile friendly system that matches the inspection app for speed and efficiency

The best reporting system that we have ever used!
Overall: Exceptional, could not be happier! Pros: I think that the way our reports look is very important to how they are perceived by our clients. Prior to using Horizon we would have phone calls every day with questions about our reports. It wasn't that the reporting wasn't clear, it's just that by comparison, the Horizon reports are so easy to read and understand that our clients just don't have questions. It has saved us a tremendous amount of wasted time on the phone. Cons: The only criticism I have is that I would like to be able to duplicate pictures in the system. In other words, if I have a photo in the report that I would like to use a second time, or in two different locations, I have to upload the photo again. I would like to be able to simply COPY the phot and move it to where I want it. The other thing would be to be able to change the order of the photos in whatever section I'm in... the photos go into the report in the order that they are taken, I want to be able to slide them left or right to put them in the order I want. It helps to tell the "story" better.

Adaptable
Overall: Love the program, support system, clients find it easy to read, love the reference links even though I still purchase the Home Reference Book for clients. Pros: I do alot of mentoring and it is easy to train new inspectors on this system. If they have issues a phone call works to navigate it with them. Live the add on Tarion, WETT, commercial tabs life is easier 1 program for all business needs. Cons: None really it is all I have ever used and easy to use, new inspectors find it easy to navigate

After two decades in the industry, I can confidently say that Horizon Home Inspectors is the best, and I wouldn't dream of using anything else. This app is like a trusted friend, and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about improving their inspection process. Cons: The only minor hiccup I've encountered is that occasionally the program can be a bit slow, but it's a small inconvenience compared to the overall efficiency and quality of the Horizon Home Inspectors app.

5 Stars is all you need to know
Pros: I use Horizon strictly for report writing. I've become very familiar with the program over the last 12 years. The templates save a lot of time, and the illustrations really help explain conditions found in the home, even to the most novice home buyer. Cons: There's no capability to upload videos to Horizon. Uploading the videos to YouTube, then adding the link to the report is a work-around, but it would be more useful to be able to have it directly in the report. Especially to non-tech savy clients, who don't use YouTube or any other apps. Also, I've never understood how a Canadian company, bills in US dollars, AND charges GST on the invoice. But that is a billing issue, and has nothing to do with the software itself.

13 Year Daily User of Horizon Inspection Software
Overall: 100 % Happy with this product and this can be seen with 13 Years of loyalty to them! Thank You Horizon! Pros: I've been using Horizon Report Writing Software since my company was opened 13 years ago and I can honestly say that this software is the best out there. I've had a couple offers from other companies to try their software and after using their trial version, It's quite easy to see the difference between the various types of software. My client always tell me how easy the report is to read and navigate trough it. The report look very professional and this software is super easy to use. User friendly and updated with great diagrams and information for customers is hands down the best! I will continue to use them regardless of the price because I like paying for quality as do my clients for quality inspections and reports. Cons: I honestly have no cons about the software. The price tends to be a bit higher than some but paying for quality is a no brainer. Their customer service is always ready to help and this is very important to me.

10 year user, overall this is great software and makes a very professional looking report
Pros: Horizon inspection software makes for a great end product. Once you learn your way around, its fairly quick to make your entries in the field. I finish up on the computer just because its easier to review everything and to see the actual finished report. The realtors love the Action Item list that gets generated along with the report as this makes their job easier when they are developing their "ask" list for the seller. I've been using horizon for 10 years now and even when there have been some tech glitches, its always been easy to get a hold of someone you can understand and who doesn't speak in software terms you can't understand. I've tried most of the inspection software out there and stay with horizon because of how great their people are if you have any questions or suggestions. Cons: It would be great if I could embed video right in the report. That's the only thing that could lure me away at this point.
