My experience with Logan from Carmichael Propane (on behalf of Carolina Propane) was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Let me tell you- I currently have gas service with Carolina Propane and I would consider moving companies solely based off of my customer service and interaction with this specialist. He was helping out Carolina Propane and was who arrived to my residence on behalf of Carolina Propane.
On Saturday January 17, 2026, I called Carolina Propane about the smell of gas in my home. Someone (for not wanting to mispel his name, I will call him Mr. T! He was also great! Great communication about his arrival time, he did all he could do in the dark, and I am immensely grateful for his service, timeliness, and sincere concern) dispatched to check the gas, as in fact, there was a leak but they were unsure where it was coming from. I received 150 gallons on 26 November, 2025 and was gone from Thanksgiving through the holidays until the second week in January.
Mr. T noted that he spoke with someone and that someone else would be back Monday the 19th, to reassess the situation because they were unsure if it was the line or the tank, at 10:30 am. No one showed up. Later on that day, I spoke with the office and they apologized and told me that they would be able to come on Thursday the 22nd. Once again, I made my way back to the residence; because I had no heat or hot water in my home and needed to stay elsewhere because of VA appointments and other reasons; at 3 pm on the 22nd, I was informed that they once more wouldn’t be able to make it out to me, I left the residence yet again- only this time to be safe in preparation of the incoming ice storm. I understand that emergencies happen, I also understand without knowing the root of the gas leak- it may not be an easy fix.
Today is day 13 that I had no gas; however Logan, a true professional showed up, not only from a sister company, but well esteemed, eager to get the job done, and with a very bright, personable and enthusiastically engaged attitude (that is very hard to find these days). He was thorough in his check, talked me through the process in terms I could understand, and even took ownership for customer service that wasn’t in-fact his company or his problem. He found the leak on the tank, made sure my heat and stove worked before he left and even explained to me how we could have found solutions if there would have in-fact been something wrong with the lines (which there weren’t).
I am grateful for this experience today. It has truly restored my confidence in craftsmanship and in a world where people don’t do the job right or take pride in their work, or people who are rude and act like it’s a burden or nuisance to do their job. However, businesses with employees like this, is where customers should flock. Keep up the good work Logan, it doesn’t go unnoticed. I’d like to also mention Mrs. Jasmine, whom of which I have worked with majority of my times dealing with Carolina Propane over the last 4 years, and I can say, she’s also a delight and efficient in her job. Not to overlook anyone else- but these people have been exceptional and are the gems that separate businesses that are in it just to make a buck, and businesses that thrive because of customer experiences that create consumer trust and loyalty. Mrs. Jones also worked diligently to get Mr. Logan scheduled to come out to my residence. Thank you all for what you do.
Now that the tank has been replaced (which I am very grateful to now have heat and hot water) I am looking onward to leadership to see how we rectify over 150 gallons of leaked gas from their tank. I believe Carolina Propane will be fair and take responsibility on their behalf, I will provide an update if the situation worsens- not to place blame or to taint the reputation of a company, but to provide honest feedback that will assist others in making decisions about the company they choose that intimately create a difference in making a house a home and keeps their families safe, fed, and warm.
