Be very careful with the diagnostic pricing here. I was quoted over $540 just to diagnose a check engine light and a suspension noise far above what most reputable shops charge. When I declined, they instantly dropped the price to $200, which is a big red flag. If the real price is $200, it shouldn’t start at $540. I left without service.
I look young for my age (23) and I assume they thought they could take advantage of a younger person who doesn’t know much about mechanics and pricing. Unfortunately I’m a graduate student in mechanical engineering and have been taking care of my car for 7 years now and know bs when I see it.

To provide some clarity, the original estimate included two separate diagnostics: one for the check-engine light and another for the suspension noise. Each requires different testing, tools, and time, so we present a combined estimate up front to cover the full scope of work.
When you mentioned to our service advisor that the price felt high, I stepped in because I genuinely wanted to help. I reviewed the estimate myself, discounted the check-engine diagnostic, and offered to diagnose the suspension noise at no charge. The intention was to make the visit more affordable for you, not to create discomfort.
You’re right about looking young, which is why I asked if you were a college student - because we regularly offer reduced pricing for students in our community, and I wanted to extend that same support. I’m sorry if that came across differently than intended.

When you call these fellows they sound happy! So service starts with the phone call. Made the appointment for a few days away.
I needed an oil change ect.
We left my car and went to lunch and I got a call suggesting they do a little more work and I okd it over the phone because I realized my former auto repair guy had suggested this years ago and I forgot. I feel safe again oiy 2007 Lexus!

Unfortunately, they did not have the type of oil that my car needed but they were super nice and rescheduled me for later on in the day. They must’ve gone somewhere to specifically pick up what I needed. Nice people I’ll be going back again.

Great communication, they do fast but reassuringly thorough work, and are super honest. Would highly recommend this shop to women looking for a trustworthy shop - they explain everything well, keep accessible records of the tests they run/what they find, and just in general have been so reliable. They did one huge fix on my car this year and recently a smaller one, both times they were really on top of it. Really grateful for these guys.
