Carmel movers recently handled our 100 mile move within Massachusetts and absolutely everything went perfectly! From first contact, asking for a quote, to the final set up in our new home, their service was the best. My initial contact was responded to very quickly and the owner came out very quickly to see what the job entailed. The quote was provided promptly and was less than we were expecting. We had no need to get a second quote. We hired them and our requested move date was agreed to. On move day four movers arrived, toured the house and got to work wrapping furniture to protect it and moving things out to the trucks. Our belongings were well protected annd handled with care. All four workers were a pleasure to work with - polite, respectful and strong! In addition to typical sofas, beds, etc. we had some odd items to move from a workshop and they handled it all smoothly. I highly recommend Carmel Movers! I hope not to move again for a while, but if I do, I will definitely use Carmel Movers again.

I had an out of state move and Carmel was extremely efficient and professional in quickly and carefully moving all of my belongings from my old apartment to my new apartment. I also appreciated their friendliness. Carmel’s rates are better than anyone else’s, and the service is top-notch. I definitely plan to use Carmel again the next time I move. No one likes moving but Carmel was amazing to work with! The main office was exceptional in following up with booking both before and after. On the day of the move, the crew worked really hard for 8-10 hours taking one very short break. They were efficient, hard working, careful, and had a great attitude. They made a long stressful day easy and I would highly recommend Carmel to anyone in need of moving or relocating services. Top notch from start to finish!

They were great careful, thoughtful and professional. The movers helped take away the stress from what might have been a stressful time. I am a senior who moved into senior housing. Everything went smoothly and all my items were well protected ( like the couch, entirely wrapped in a sort of industrial Saran Wrap to keep it clean! The price also came in under the original estimate, and I thought it very fair!Thank you, Carmel movers for making this transition go so well!

I used Carmel for a move in 2020. They were great. They were able to accommodate my last minute request. Movers were on time, very efficient and fast. The price quoted n the phone was the price I was invoiced and paid. I will use them again!

This was my first move with Carmel Movers and I will never use them again nor recommend them to others. I engaged them for an in-state move at the recommendation of my neighbor. I paid them to pack my dining room and kitchen as well as move furniture and boxes I packed myself. I paid in full before the move and tipped the team well. I found it odd that they did not inventory the boxes as other movers do. They loaded most of my things on the truck the first day, finished loading and delivered on day two.
It took me ten days to unpack everything. I then notified them of a missing box with my silver and a few other items from the dining room. They said they would investigate. They never followed-up. I reached out repeatedly via email with no response. When I communicated that I was going to write this review, they put me in touch with their insurance company which told me their policy does not cover damaged or lost items. Unbelievable! I have worked with 4 other movers in the past 10 years where lost boxes were compensated and a damaged table was repaired. It is six months past the move and no further response has been made. Buyer beware! If you choose to work with them, get the terms of loss and damage in writing up front, or better yet, choose another mover!
