In my opinion, the first few years that I attended this dentist, my experience was excellent. However the female dentist left and after seeing another dentist at the practice, I was allocated a male dentist.
I found initially that he was thorough, gentle and polite.
However, the penultimate visit was very different. I had a deep clean and it was very painful. I am on blood thinners and my gums were bleeding for ages and I was being sick blood clots later.
The visit 6 months later was brief and after sitting in the chair, he just looked at me and didn't even check my teeth. He just asked me to make an appointment for a deep clean. Then charged me for the conversation.
Through fear and anxiety, I have now cancelled and moved dentist.
Cancelling was extremely a challenging experience. The receptionist was extremely defensive and loyal to the company. She took the opportunity to tell me that she had worked for 40 years in the industry and knew no reason why ultrasonic cleaners shouldn't be used on procera vaneers on a person whom is taking Apixaban. Well I think she missed the point of the call.
I have a pacemaker fitted and I do understand that ultrasonics can't be used around them but I guess that's something else to debate with the receptionist.
Something has to be seriously debatable for anyone to remove themselves from dental clinics in these times when NHS dentists are as rare as rocking horse poop.
Thank you for your services. Every day is a learning curve, even at my age.
