We have had overnight shifts from Care Mountain for my Dad. Its been almost 18 months now. We take care of dad during the day and need overnight support since he requires active care in the night with his Oxygen concentrator. He also has hallucinations from his progressing lewy body dementia. Care Mountain has been reliable and they provide high quality care. In all the time Care Mountain has been with us, they have not missed any shift. They always have a replacement if a caregiver cannot come. They coordinate care very well. The three ladies who tag team across the week back each other up. The ladies are kind, compassionate and experienced. The office staff works collaboratively with us on dad's care plan. Overall, we have found Care Mountain to be a solid and trustworthy company, and would recommend them to anyone looking for private home care for their loved one.
We were struggling to help my Mom and Dad after Dad's stroke in May, when a family friend (she is also a nurse at UT Southwestern), recommended we speak to Care Mountain. Gagan and his team were very thoughtful and methodical in understanding all aspects of Dad's care needs and planning for it. We were on their post-stroke care package in which the Care Mountain team of Nurses, therapists worked closely with Encompass inpatient rehab to transition him home, and continue in-home rehab and recovery. The caregivers were a great support to Dad's day-to-day needs, and helped Mom in reducing the strain on her. Thanks to their focus and hard work, Dad regained a lot his functionality and is able to lead a decent quality of life. After their stroke care plan finished, we have since continued with Care Mountain caregivers for 5-6 hours a day of support to help Mom and Dad in their day to day care needs. Throughout our time with them, the Care Mountain team has helped us file claims with John Hancock LTC insurance policy. The insurance filing process has been smooth. We are grateful for this company's thoughtful and personalized approach to helping families needing senior care and would definitely recommend them.
I am grateful for the care and attention with which Care Mountain has helped take care of my Mom. My Mom is a dementia and COPD patient. We have had various companies and private caregivers before. Care Mountain's staff is much better in knowledge and experience. When we hired Care Mountain almost seven months ago, we were impressed with the time they took to really understand Mom's health. The key issue was how to help her with Bipap, to which she was very resistant due to mask discomfort. Care Mountain took the time to understand the care needs and assembled an excellent team of caregivers. Plus they connected us to a respiratory therapist. The caregiver already knew how to operate the model of Bipap machine we have. She helped mom use Bipap and gently pushed her to use it every night. I feel that made a big difference in mom's quality of life. I would highly recommend Care Mountain for customized care.
We met with many home care companies over the last several month. We tried a few large companies who promised experienced staff but the quality was inconsistent. We also had issues with getting reimbursed from our LTC company. But from the very first call with Care Mountain my Dad and I felt that we were listened to and were being guided with expertise, kindness, and respect. We’ve noticed a significant difference in mom a few months since she started with them. She is calmer, smiles more, and even sometimes enjoys her walks and interactions with people. The caregivers and office staff are professional and keep us updated every day, and they handle everything from meals to meds. They also do our Genworth Long term care insurance paperwork so that we can get reimbursed. We have had absolutely no issues with insurance with Care Mountain. The company's end-to-end support has given Dad invaluable daily respite, and me real peace of mind knowing that she’s safe and cared for. I can’t thank them enough, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for senior care.

My uncle, who has Parkinsons, received in home care support from Care Mountain. They designed a personalized care plan that combined PT sessions and caregivers support. Their staff is much more dedicated and experienced that the other company we used before. They took care of meals, toileting, bathing and they also kept him company during the day. Thanks to Care Mountain's staff, he was able to maintain a better quality of life. The office team is knowledgeable and supportive. They even took care of submitting all the paperwork to NOrthwestern LTC Insurance. If you are navigating the challenges of home care management for a family member, do consult with Care Mountain. Care Mountain is a dependable home care company. We are satisfied with their caregivers. They are patient, reliable and understand challenges of Alzheimers. They keep a steady routine for dad. When he gets anxious they are able to redirect gently. They keep an eye on him the whole day and give him company. It really helps with his moods. Because of companies like Care Mountain, elderly are able to live safely in their own homes. The office also helped a lot in getting us the right person who dad liked and got along with. We hired Care Mountain in March of this year to take care of my wife who got out of hospital and bed ridden. Our experience with this company is phenomenal, the have over last 6 months sent dozen caregivers and every one if them were very caring, professional and extremely well mannered. In fact my wife is doing much better and we don't need that much help and looked at different options to reduce our cost but finally decided to stay with them because of their reliability and professionalism.
