We just finished a tour of Portugal. Angela and Paloma took care of all the details of the trip to include airport transfers, hotels, gastronomy and tour guides. We basically flew into the country and they took care of the land portion of the trip. They remained in constant communication during the trip and answered all questions in less than 5 minutes. All of their guides and car/van drivers were professional and were able to communicate in English (and in Spanish also). Several experiences were tailored made for our trip, such as hiking through a vineyard in the Duoro region, a gastronomic tour of Porto, and a nice Sunday drive through the beaches of Algarve, among others. Our driver was excellent and made suggestions on the spot for our lunches, dinners, spots for sightseeing and photography, etc.

We had the best trip to Spain, including Madrid, Toledo, Granada and Seville. Angela and Paloma did an outstanding job of planning a perfect 9 days for us - from start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations, our drivers, guides, tours and experiences. My only regret is not having more time - it definitely left us wanting a bit more time to explore each area. They also went above and beyond to help when my niece was ill for a couple days on our trip. We so appreciated the assistance they offered and last minute changes to our itinerary. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and one that we will never forget!

We had an absolutely fantastic trip to Spain and Morocco, with every detail handled by Carameltrail, specifically Angela, and then also Paloma during the actual travel. We loved working with Angela, going back and forth to fine tune our itinerary. She asked the right questions to make sure the itinerary matched our preferences for tours, hiking trails, photo ops, types of lodging, guides, etc. She handled every detail to perfection, making hotel reservations, plane and rental car reservations, drivers... everything! The lodging they set up for us was spectacular and memorable with unique and friendly boutique hotels. And when we had questions during the actual travel, Angela and Paloma were always available, at all hours!!! They even surprised us with special tips during the travel so we were able to enjoy some of their local favorite eats and activities. We highly recommend Carameltrail and will use them again!!

Our group of 6 experienced a most fabulous trip in Seville, Madrid, Lisbon and Madeira thanks to the expertise of Angela and Paloma from Carameltrail. We have worked with different travel agents over the years, but have never experienced the attention to detail, thoughtful planning, and wonderful execution as we did for this recent month-long trip. Angela listened carefully to our thoughts about the trip and scheduled experiences for us that were varied, authentic, and interesting. The guides that were secured for us were absolutely top-notch! We liked the fact that we had several guides for multiple days. All drivers were excellent and on time for each excursion. Throughout the trip, Angela and Paloma checked in with us each day to make sure we enjoyed our activities and constantly asked if they could do anything else for us. When we asked about hearing Fado music, they secured tickets for us at no extra charge. We have never had such personalized service. We would certainly use Carmeltrail again when traveling to that part of Europe. We wholeheartedly recommend them- you will not be disappointed. They exceeded every expectation we had for our trip.

Caramel Trail assisted us on our travels to Spain and Portugal. We cannot say enough great things about their recommendations, travel support and guidance throughout our entire trip. No detail was left untouched and they made it all a seamless and stress-free adventure. Carameltrail made our dream vacation to Spain a reality. I first connected with Angela in 2019 to plan a trip for 2020 that never came to fruition. When we finally started planning again in 2024 I reached out to Angela and she instantly picked up where we left off. She worked with us to refine the trip to meet our desires and schedules. It was such a pleasant and personalized experience. When it came time for our trip Angela provided us with so much information from places to visit and eat. There was immediate responses from Angela throughout the whole process even while in Spain she was instantly there to help when we missed our train to return to Madrid. She even took time out of her weekend to meet us and put a face with a name. All of the tour guides were knowledgeable and personable. All the drivers we had for transfers were also friendly and helpful. We fit a lot in 10 days but also had plenty of time to relax. We had a lovely trip to Spain & Portugal with Carameltrail! It was a treat having drivers and guides at the ready. They were quick to respond and handle dinner reservations. Communication in whatsapp was stellar. The Tourwriter that you can easily access the itinerary is a plus on your phone. It was truly a wonderful way to experience these 2 beautiful countries. The guides were impressive. One thing that I would do, is let them know that you'd like some free time to shop at various day trips or else you won't get that opportunity. Would love to have shopped a little in Segovia. It was an amazing trip and would highly recommend Carameltrail!

Booking our trip with Carameltrail was a no-brainer after our first trip to Spain. It was an incredible trip. This time we traveled to beautiful Portugal. They created a custom itinerary that perfectly balanced sightseeing, culture, and relaxation. Everything was so well organized—transfers, tours and accommodations all went smoothly. We loved how they included authentic experiences, like a guided food tour in Porto, a day trip through the Douro Valley wine region, a stop in a small historic village and time to relax along the Algarve coast before heading to Lisbon where we enjoyed a city tour that was custom to what we wanted to see. We ended our trip with an amazing day trip to Sintra and Cascais with a sailboat trip back to Lisbon-definitely a highlight and a perfect way to end our trip. Each recommendation felt thoughtful and tailored to what we wanted out of the trip. What impressed us most was their attention to detail—they provided tips on local restaurants, hidden gems, and even other sights we might want to see if we had extra time.
