This is the second time visiting Captain Dan’s. First was ok but the second was absolutely abysmal. The cream of crab soup and seafood chowder were awful. They both appear to have a chicken stock base and have no cream added whatsoever which is completely bizarre. Taste was awful, disappointing, and way too salty.

Got to say best jumbo crabs I ever had in my life please don’t ever leave/remove yourself from this location I drove all the way from Virginia for these crabs so thick juicy fresh and mustard was on point great job you guys continue to prosper and feed my belly lol

Update 10.4- You guys are awesome. Just did a door dash order for crab dip and it came packaged well, hot and delish!!! Thank you 😊 This is our go to spot for crabs 🦀 very tasty and heavy! Seasoned well and staff is always friendly. Pricing is fair :)

I ALWAYS come here when in town during crab season! They never disappoint! 10 of us had 5 dz Jumbo & Xtra Large! 150 vs 125 and the XL was just as good

Come on Joe. How many times are you going to come in and give our staff a hard time over the same nonsense. You know we have fresh, excellent scallops.
