I guess maybe we were the odd man out with this company. Went with Canter as salesman was affable and instead of having 1 tank off to side of property we had 2 close to house. Price was basically the same as other bid we received. Well after 3 failed inspections, being accused of lying by sales mgr(?) and salesman and over 3 months before it actually was working (some out of their control) we just cant recommend this company. Installers were nice although their competence is questionable. After failing 1 inspection another installer came out to basically remove the previous installation and do it differently. Even the inspectors weren't suprised with our experience. No apologies, no mea culpas, nothing. Confirmed by their employees, and experienced by us....internal communications are a joke. Installers mentioned that the installs from our salesman are always a mess.Reconfirm and demand every detail in writing!
Josh who serviced the generator was not only highly professional, very helpful, knowledgeable and interactive, he also worked very precisely and fast. He also quickly analysed the cause of an interruption of th power supply to my ev charger. He finished these tasks while it rained hard. Canter can be proud to have technitans like him.

This company is incompetent and unprofessional in the way they do business! They started a project they do not have the competency to finish. I put a deposit down Sept 8th for backup power to both my homes. The county said in 30 years they never saw such a dangerous wiring diagram and thank goodness failed their inspection. I entered talks with one of the shareholders of the business to in good faith figure a way forward, and he has not responded for over 2 weeks! Stay away from this company!
Update: now over 4 weeks with no response from David Dumphy!
And come to find out, David Dumphy was not even reading my emails that were intended to find a solution! He was hiring an attorney. He didn't have the character to just say what was on his mind.
On time and communication was clear for arrival and how long the project would take. Alex did a great job and left the area cleaner thank when he arrived.
