I called to cancel my membership and was told it had been cancelled, yet the company continued to charge me £80 per month after cancellation. On top of this, they then claimed I would be charged a cancellation fee, despite the fact I signed up to a flexible plan that should not include one.
For context, the reason I cancelled in the first place was because I had a different masseuse every single month, with appointments frequently cancelled or moved, making it exhausting to constantly reschedule and completely undermining the point of a monthly membership.
This feels extremely misleading and unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase a business to stop taking money from their account after clearly cancelling.
If you choose to visit, do it as a one-off only. I would strongly advise against signing up to any monthly membership, it feels like a trap and causes unnecessary stress trying to get out of it.
Avoid the monthly plan. AVOID.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MASSAGE PLACE IN CANNING TOWN.
Hello everyone, I recently had my first deep tissue massage at The Massage Company. I was very impressed with my masseuse, Esam. She skillfully addressed all the areas that needed attention. I had been experiencing numbness in my back and right leg, as well as general body tension, and I am pleased to report that I left feeling free from pain and numbness, all thanks to Esam. š«¶

Had a great massage and I love that with the membership I can split the 50 mins in half so I can come twice a month. Definitely try out different therapists to see which one you prefer.
