Brian was fantastic to work with! Our 5mo pup boarded with him for 4wks and they worked on several commands (sit, heel, place, ok, come, leave it, etc.), house training, crate training, leash training and overall behavioral work. He came back obedient and still the same loving and cuddly guy! Brian also sent a ton of videos throughout and held a few 1:1s with us where we learned how to be consistent with the commands and reinforcement that accompanies them. The communication was easy and consistent. I highly recommend working with Brian!
I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding work Brian at Canine Pro has done with my dog. My only regret is not reaching out to him sooner.
My initial concerns were housebreaking issues and the troubling behavior of my dog eating his waste. During our consultation, Brian carefully outlined a comprehensive training plan that included obedience training, housebreaking, and addressing separation anxiety. We also discussed additional goals, such as crate training, sit and down commands, place training, recall, and heeling at my side.
I enrolled my dog in Brian’s two-week program, and at my request, he graciously extended it for a third week. At the time, I felt overwhelmed and uncertain, as there were so many behaviors that needed improvement. When my dog returned home, I was absolutely speechless at the transformation.
He no longer has accidents in the house and now consistently goes to the bathroom outside. On walks, he follows commands like leave it and heel, making our outings stress-free instead of a constant struggle. At home, I can now complete tasks like laundry or loading the dishwasher while he remains calmly in place on his bed—something that was impossible before.
Throughout the training, Brian kept me informed with frequent pictures, videos, and detailed updates. He even provided links to the products he was using so I could easily maintain consistency once my dog returned home.
What stood out most was not only Brian’s expertise and professionalism, but also the genuine care and attention he gave my dog. It was clear to me that my dog was treated with kindness and respect throughout the entire process.
I am beyond grateful for everything Brian has done. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking effective, compassionate training for their dog.

Brian was phenomenal to work with. Our family dog was very high energy and we had a baby on the way, that we were concerned about the dog hurting my wife or the newborn, as she was prone to running at jumping at high speeds.

We have been working with Brian for the last 6 months with our pup, Agador. We started with at home training sessions which were great to help us understand the way to communicate with our dog. Brian took Leo and Tyson for a 4-week board and train. During their stay, he kept us updated on progress via several videos outlining status of training. The videos were very helpful in helping us reinforce what they learned. He was also helpful with troubleshooting some of the behavioral issues they were having and taught us simple techniques to resolve other bad behavior. Thank you Brian!!
Brian was so informative about what WE had to do- changing the way we communicated and influenced Scout’s behavior.
He taught us a lot about what and how dogs do and don’t understand, and how to be in charge and in control- all while being very humane . And Scout loved him!

Compassionate, friendly, and educational, these are only a few of the wonderful qualities Brian has. About two months ago I got my one year old mini doxie, and within the first two weeks I noticed that she was experiencing a lot of anxiety and insecurity. After sharing my dog’s story on a Long Island dog page, I received a recommendation to reach out to Brian. Within the first twenty four hours of sending an inquiry I was able to set a call up with him.
Upon explaining my dog’s behavior, he suggested that we set up an evaluation. During the evaluation Brian was able to see her behavioral patterns and was able to assess her very quickly. Brian suggested a few options for her and my husband and I ultimately decided that a two week board and train would be the most beneficial for her since we are both busy working in healthcare. Every day our dog was with him we received an update, videos, and he brought anything that could be of concern to our attention.
My husband and I were then able to use his methods to educate ourselves on how to work with her once her board and train was complete.
Our dog came back with significant improvement and we continue to work with Brian on helping our dog overcome her challenges. We truly value the relationship and trust we and our dog have with him as he is always checking in. our mini dachshund did Brian’s Boarding and Training Program and had obedience work done with Brian. She has made such excellent progress. A big problem for her was reactivity with guests and around other dogs, which is a challenge when living in an apartment building. She has become a lot less anxious with Brian’s behavior training and he has given us great education on how to continue working with Luna to make sure she is comfortable and confident. We highly recommend Brian and plan to continue working with him.

We did a 2-week Board and Train for our 1.5 year old chocolate lab and Brian was INCREDIBLE. We knew he was the right fit for what we wanted when we did the in-home consultation. We were seeking a very balanced, individualized approach that fit with our lifestyle (we don't need military/police/sport training!), so were very happy to see Brain offers MANNERS and CONFIDENCE BUILDING. The videos and photo updates during the course of the 2-weeks went above and beyond! I enjoyed them so much I miss them now that she's home! Ha. Our dog had the BEST time and clearly enjoyed her time with Brian. She went on excursions to the beach, parks, and Home Depot to build her skills in different areas. She is always excited to see him when he comes for our in-home follow-up sessions, which tells us it was a good experience for her. I would highly recommend Brian for any dog training needs. We worked with him for private sessions as well as a 4 week board and train. He worked with our highly anxious dog to help increase his confidence and obedience. He also worked closely with us on how to continue the training once our dog came home. Brian is an amazing trainer. He is patient and showed real interest in working with us and our dogs. Our dogs made great progress in only 5 sessions. I sent my 9 month old mini bernadoodle with Brian for 2 week board and train and I could not be happier with the results. Before we sent her away, she ate all the furniture, destroyed my couch, chairs, and all the pillows and blankets. She was constantly chewing valuables other than her toys! I could not walk her on the leash Because she just pulled and pulled. It was so bad I couldn’t even take her on walks. My cousin has used brian for both of his dogs and they are extremely well trained and it is very impressive. I decided to send my bernadoodle with brian and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She no longer even attempts to go on the couch or chew the couch. She knows her place and most of all is much more calm!!! She now matches our energy, if we want to play and run sprint she will but if we are all laying down she will go to her place and not get up. I am a very active 23 year old and love going on long walks and I can finally do that thanks to Brian. I take my dog for 3-5 mile walks a day now Because she doesn’t even attempt to pull me and walks directly next to me. If you are considering sending your dog with Brian DO IT!! It is worth it.

Brian is an absolute dog whisperer. My family was at a loss and then we found Brian. Our dog Jace has been given a chance to live alongside us whilst being under control. Before he would jump up on us with all of his weight leaving us with bruises. He was out of control eating our house. Now he is attentive and aware of when it is time for play or time to relax. I am so proud of Jace for this improvement. Brian also took his genuine time to help my family gain the skills needed to continue everything Jace learned during his 2 week board and train. Brian is invested in his clients as well as the dogs themselves. It was very clear how much Jace adored Brian as well. The relationship he showed us to build with him is not through fear, but through using a clear communication system of balanced training. We knew as a family we needed to step up if we wanted Jace to live a great life. Brian simply taught us how. We are so thankful!
I recently had Brian take my 2yr old boxer for a 2 week board an train. I cant say enough stellar things about it. Brians attention to details of our concerns, sending videos an texts about his progress was great. Its a little worrisome letting your Dog go with someone for 2 weeks. But Brian is a excellent trainer. After a day or two i had complete confidence in his abilities to properly help with the initial training of our beloved Jace. We were having problems with him urinating in house as well as jumping on people and chewing up things in the house, furniture, shoes ect…. All of these issues were addressed and solutions were presented that actually work!
Brian has a very calm demeanor and shows you how to do everything. It doesn’t happen overnight. It requires patience and repetition but it works! I was unaware of why Jace was doing the things he was doing. Brian is like a dog whisperer lol he figured out his issues and made us aware of them. One thing that is very important in this is that Brian always responds quickly to a question or concern. Its obvious he loves what he does and it shows. Jace has been home for a week now and he has made great strides in his behavior. Something you have to understand is Brian is actually training you on what to do. While Jace was under Brians care someone walking a small dog off leash attacked Jace who was on leash as he should be in public and Brian had to take evasive action to protect Jace if you are unaware of how your dog will react to others please dont walk your dog off leash! Most dog problems are unknowingly caused by the owner. We cant thank brian enough and i would highly recommend his services!
Our pup Pilot spent 3 week’s boarding and training with Brian and the time was transformational! Brian’s care, understanding, and patience balanced with solid training skills, and commitment to good outcomes for all are all are deeply appreciated by our family and Pilot who enjoys working on his new talents daily!
