Beautiful home up on top of the hills behind Uvita. Stunning view and a comfortable home. The pool was smaller than expected, maybe due to the angle of the photos, but otherwise everything looked like the listing. Jessica was very attentive.As others have noted, having a 4x4 is essential. Keep in mind also that it is about 10 mins to go up so make sure you have everything you need before you get there. There is a BM really close just down the highway, which was very convenient.

☺ The property is stunning overlooking Uvita. I stopped in a condo and each one had a stunning view. There was so much wildlife surrounding the villas (Coatis, Capuchin Monkeys, many Toucans, Vultures and Macaws).
Property was clean comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were on it too, and offered a service to deliver groceries/drinks if you didn't fancy the trip down the hill.
☹ As the condos all opened up onto the same garden area, there were times where there was little privacy.
The road in was adventurous, fine in a 4×4 though - there is a supermarket just before the turn off, I recommend stocking up first then enjoying a relaxing stay.
It seemed a very nice villa on top of the hills with a view. We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work.
Positives: - The view is very nice
- the grounds are greener than on the pics
- the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird!
- the furnishing is nice wood, well styled
- aircons work
Not so goods:
- long dirt gravel road 6km, also a positive, as we had a 4x4, so be sure to have a high clearance or 4x4.
- no washing machine available
- tiles throughout seem nice but when wet are extremely slippery! They put some strips down outside, but you must wear footwear…!
- kitchen is good size, but not well equipped, so basically not really for cooking majorly, thus missing utensils or cheap versions.
- dining chairs are too low
- place smelled like dog first few days, floor needs better cleaning!
Good coms/fixes:
- shower at first didn’t work properly, but they came fast and fixed.
Generally we enjoyed the place only to an extent, that it was nice architecture with a view a lot of animals around, quite private, large dining deck and cool at night, but the location is high in hills and therefore much cooler, wetter and in clouds, so hardly touched the pool and when wanting outdoors we went to the valley for sunshine.
We stayed a week.

I stayed at this exceptional resort from November 8th to the 23rd, 2025, and although I have traveled extensively throughout South America, this experience truly stood out. Costa Rica delivered the four C’s I value most in a destination: clean air, clean water, clean food (chi), and a consistently pleasant climate. My spouse and I stayed in Casa 3, which in my personal opinion offers the best view on the property. The installations were not only excellent—beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable—but the location itself was absolutely breathtaking. Set in a prestigious and pristine area, the resort gave us the rare opportunity to observe wildlife right from our patio. Each day we enjoyed the sights and sounds of a wide variety of birds, watched dolphins and even whales from afar in the bay, and delighted in visits from the nearby monkey tribes. It felt like nature was unfolding in front of us, moment by moment. Adding to an already remarkable experience was the personal, warm, and attentive support we received from the resort team—before our arrival, throughout our stay, and even after our departure. Their dedication to guest care made all the difference. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a harmonious blend of comfort, nature, and hospitality. It is truly a standout destination.

☹ They communicate and message a lot, via booking message, via whatsapp. It was okish, but somewhat to much for me personally. Can imagine that others would like that.
This is an exceptional place.
☺ The property is up in the hills, so the air is cooler and the view stunning. Peaceful and quiet, with no city noises or barking dogs. I felt nestled in a natural environment and surrounded by beauty.
The hostess seems totally committed to her guests having a great experience.

Wir waren 4 Personen in diesem schönen Haus. Die Lage ist super. Uvita und Bahia sind gut erreichbar. Viele Restaurants,Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Playas Uvita und Hermosa sind fantastisch. Beim Haus steht ein Baum , der von vielen Vögeln besucht wird. Wir konnten Tukane , Kollibris und mehr, aus nächster nähe beobachten! Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Our favourite stay while in Costa Rica. The villa was absolutely wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. We had an amazing panoramic view with lots of wildlife. I already miss my morning coffee on the patio with the amazing view and nature sounds.
