Our townhouse is over 100 years old. Slava and his team installed a sump pump in 2017 for me and the basement has been dry since. They did a great job organizing with Toronto Hydro and working to code. As well they really managed to keep the dust to a minimum.
Fast forward to today. I picked up the home a couple of doors over. The basement has minor leaking. Here's where I get credit now, for keeping Slava's contact. :) He came out this morning to quote on options to seal it. I'm writing the review today because his first option is giving me advice on keeping the water away from the house better. He hopes I can avoid any construction because it's a pretty big job. It will now cost maybe $100 to test his theory, potentially saving me a few thousand.
