I love Caminhos. All the teachers are super friendly, professional and helpful. Also the administration staff helped me always with all my questions about Rio (thank you Maria). I learned here portugues super fast and I can totally recommend it for everyone.

Caminhos is really something special. The classes are well-organised, the teaching is good, the optional trips and cultural activities are fantastic (and many of them are free) and there is a great community feel. I was only able to come for a week of classes here but it was so worth it. It's helpful that they offer a specific level for beginner Portuguese speakers who speak fluent/high-level Spanish or Italian. And it's great that they can organise homestays with local people. The social enterprise aspect seems really good too. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience! I arrived knowing zero Portuguese and after just one week am amazed by how much I've learned and how I'm able to function in Rio. The classes are small and the instruction is friendly but very focused. These guys really know what they're doing. They have a great calendar of activities and I immediately made new friends from all over the world of all ages and backgrounds. The location is ideal for afternoon excursions after the 4 hours of instruction from 9am-1pm. I'm going to leave with a solid foundation and am already planning to come back!

I had THE BEST experience at Caminhos. I took their language programs for 2 weeks and had great teachers with Juan and Giulli. I also did their homestay program, which was a great way to get more immersed in Rio's culture (and stay right in Ipanema!). I'm planning to continue private classes virtually from my country with their teachers. Couldn't recommend more.

Ich habe beim Caminhos Language Center eine großartige Erfahrung gemacht! Die Lehrer gestalten den Unterricht spannend und interaktiv. Ich hatte wahnsinnigen Spaß am Lernen und konnte super viel mitnehmen. Außerdem bietet die Schule tolle Aktivitäten an, durch die es sehr leicht fällt, neue Leute kennenzulernen und sich zu connecten. Das gesamte Team ist immer hilfsbereit und sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Adorei minha estadia aqui! Passei um mês aprendendo português nas aulas de nível B2, e foi realmente uma experiência transformadora para mim. Tive a sorte de fazer aulas (o curso intensivo) com apenas uma ou duas outras pessoas (dependendo da semana), o que me permitiu avançar muito rapidamente. A escola oferece muitas atividades, e fico muito feliz por ter podido embarcar nessa experiência. Recomendaria essa escola a qualquer estudante de português!

Ich hatte für insgesamt 4 Wochen einen B2 und C1 Kurs besucht. Die Lehrer waren alle fast ausnahmslos sehr motiviert und engagiert, sowohl im Gruppen - als auch im Einzelunterricht. Die Atmosphäre mit vielen anderen Schülern war sehr nett und man hat sehr schnell andere Leute in Rio kennengelernt (in meiner Klasse waren je nach Woche 3-6 Leute. In der Sprachschule ca. 50. Kurz vor Karneval sogar wohl bis zu ca. 150). Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit in Rio. Mein portugiesisch hat große Fortschritte gemacht und gleichzeitig konnte ich die cidade maravilhosa genießen
