Had an amazing few days, just wish it had been longer. Cottage had absolutely everything we needed for a really comfortable stay, bed was extremely comfortable, cosy sofa and dining area and very well equipped kitchen area. Hosts were wonderful and provided lots of information of things to do and see during our stay as well as having great links on their website and literature in the cottage. The scenery and area around the cottages is relaxing and perfect for unwinding as you wander around the land and footpaths. (Beautiful little water meadow at the bottom of the field where you can sit and forget about anything else.) All in all highly recommend for a peaceful and cosy stay that is within easy reach of little towns and villages as well as many beaches and walks.
Lovely out of the way place to stay very nice barn conversion very clean and tidy had telescope out in nice dark skies would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay. Everything was as described. We brought our 2 dogs who loved the location & surroundings. We used Brechfa Forrest for biking & walks which was great. Everything you need is in the accommodation. Would recommend.

This property is beautifully clean and wonderfully comfortable. Its private, secluded setting made for a peaceful retreat at the end of each day exploring the area. There are so many lovely things to do nearby, which our whole family enjoyed . The space and location suited us perfectly, and we are already looking forward to returning. Libby and Peter were exceptional hosts and made everything feel easy and relaxed.

A wonderful quiet location with great views over the surrounding countryside, Libby and Peter were great hosts and helped sort the minor hiccup with the car charging. Well worth a visit and nice location for some of the local attractions, we went to the wool museum, Dinefwr and Dolaucothi, just don’t expect to be able to travel at speed through the country lanes or villages.A great spot and we would certainly stay again.

Upon arrival we were met by our hosts who showed us around and imparted the all important 'local knowledge' of where to visit, where to eat etc.
The apartment we stayed in (The Stable Loft) was sympathetically converted and had a modern and welcoming feel, with open plan living which included a well appointed and modern kitchen, comfy sofas and a wood burner for the chilly evenings in the Welsh countryside.
The bed was warm and comfortable, the bathroom was modern with a decent, powerful shower.
The location is a great base for hiking or mountain biking the Brechfa Forest trails and surrounding area, this really is a wonderful rural retreat where you can get away from it all and relax surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and beautiful views.

The entrance was practical to leave space for muddy shoes and wet jackets. The owners were also very thoughtful to have other items available such as a cafitere to make coffee.

A lovely stay the Hay Loft. The accommodation had everything we needed and is tastefully decorated. It was very preaceful and just what we needed. The bed in main bedroomWas a little short for my husband (he is 6ft 4”) so will be fine for most guests. Really useful to have the electric charging point.

We had a great time at the Stable, in a beautiful location surrounding by rolling hills. It was very refreshing to have some nice clean air!Libby and her husband greeted us on arrival with keys and showed us round where we were staying, which was absolutely pristine. The facilities were perfect as a home away from home base, with all the necessary utilities available. We enjoyed the private garden in the mornings and evenings.Carmarthen is reasonably close by, so we were able to visit the Tesco there and grab all we needed. Gwydgrugg is a great location in general for many attractions in Wales.We would recommend this location to anyone considering it!
