WOW! How did I ever miss this gem of a store all these years living in St. Augustine? I was so impressed when I visited The Vault. They had a large variety of beautiful jewelry including gorgeous rings, diamond stud ear rings, bracelets, coin necklaces for both men & women, gold and silver, new and old! There are beautiful designer bags that some have gotten tired of and have traded them or put them there on consignment. There are also some impressive looking guitars. Bottom line, this is a store full of treasurers, some new and some old. Did I mention the high end watches?
Brian and Mel are awesome and very helpful when I was there picking something special out for the holidays. If you are looking for that special, really can't find anywhere else gift, be sure to stop off at THE VAULT! Wonderful, knowledgeable people who are very fair in their pricing. Also if you have some old jewelry that you no longer wear bring it by and trade it in or have them sell it for you.

Excellent place to do business. My father and I recently had some items to sell but couldn't make the trip over for health reasons and he took an hour to drive to us. Very fair and honest man, would do business with him again.

Mel and Margie are absolutely wonderful to work with! I had some old broken jewelry that I almost threw away. Turns out that broken jewelry can be valuable! They were patient with me and explained how the testing process works to verify metals and took the time to test each item, even the broken pieces of chain. I have now scheduled a home visit to possibly sell some books and other items. I plan on doing business with them exclusively in the future!

I had such a great experience at this pawn shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and respect. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire process of pawning my gold simple and comfortable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me a very fair offer, and made me feel confident in my decision.

I accidentally found this place while making some phone calls, trying to sell some scrap gold. The man I spoke to was assisting someone at his shop, so I reached out to a local jeweler I trusted, and before I knew it, Brian from Vault & Co had returned my call. I explained that I had decided to go to a jeweler for appraisal, and he gave me some fantastic advice, and I went on my way.
The jeweler I went to made a ridiculously low offer for the gold. Fortunately, thanks to Brian, I went into the jewelry shop aware of the value, politely declined their offer, and made the drive out to St. Augustine. Brian analyzed the gold with his XRF machine, weighed it, and wrote a check on the spot for almost double the offer I received from the other guys. Thank you Brian!
You will not find a bigger rip off pawn shop. I took many items, Gold, silver , diamonds coins . The big diamond had the GIA report. I was offered next to nothing for my items and he explained the big diamond was worth next to nothing because of all the grown diamonds in the market. He offered me xx for my items but ONLY if I included the big diamond. No big diamond, no buying anything . He said he would do me a “favor” and try to get $1000 for big diamond. I declined. I received over 10 times his offer for the big diamond on a live auction site, yes diamonds with the GIA report are worth money contrary to what he said. He thought I was stupid and would take his “favor” to get rid of my big diamond . And the pawn shop on King Street over bid the Vault by 40% on my other items.
I got to visit The Vault and company in Saint Augustine. I was in the area and felt I would check it out. Excited for the free parking. In Saint Augustine its hard to find free parking in the historical area.. This store imbibes class and not your typical coin shop. Fresh bright and modern. The staff was easy going and not trying to hard sell when buying and certainly not trying to knock you head off when buying. Really super nice rolex watches and anything bullion or numismatic you could want. I will return often. You should check them out.
