The company did correct their error in billing and deserves a better rating than I originally gave it. It's hard to know who was responsible for the problems they did create. Unfortunately they finished after sunset so the workers could not see, and neither could I, anything that was beneath their normal standards.
I recently hired Calcoast to remove and install a new fence, and the entire experience was excellent. They were easy to work with, very responsive, and professional. The crew of two completed the job in just three days and kept the work area clean throughout the project. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations as this was my first time using Thumbtack to find a pro. I would recommend Calcoast to family and friends, and I would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.

I am now a very happy and satisfied customers and the neighbors and friends are ready to use this company as well. Ask for Eric and he will set up an appointment to come measure your place and give you some good ideas. they have many styles and two different materials. We went with vinyl which is a lifetime warranty and last forever.

I talked to several fence companies prior to selecting Calcoast for the job. And my main reason for doing so, was the initial meeting with Gerard. Gerard was friendly respectful and not only did he make sure everything was clarified before the job started, we worked together through the entire process to make sure I was getting what I wanted. And in the end, Gerard made sure the finished install I received met my expectations. The guys doing the actual install, Hrach was the lead, were very professional, kind, respectful, and again, made sure I was happy with the install. I had a few minor issues, but they made sure they were taken care of before the install was complete. The only real issue I have, is that they start the day between 10am and 11am, which for most, is too late in the day to begin a project like this. And what I was told would be a 1 day project ended up taking 4 days. Had they put more than 2 guys on the job, it probably would have been. Ultimately, I would highly recommend using Calcoast for a new vinyl fence install.

I had them install a chain link fence at my property in Vista. In the initial estimate over the phone I mentioned that I was not presently at the property but I estimated 175 feet of fencing and two gates . I was quoted
$100/ft or $17500.
They estimated two days of work and arranged for me to meet them at the property. The first day was a no show but they promised to double their crew and finish the project the next day. When they arrived I showed them where I wanted the fencing and added one gate to the project. I was told there would be no charge for the extra gate. Work was finished at 9:00 pm so I could not inspect the job and the next morning I left before dawn. I was charged $17500 for 90 feet of fencing. When I asked for an invoice and mentioned that the length of fencing was 85' less than what they had bid they stopped answering my calls.
CalCoast fencing did get back in touch with me. They sent an agent to my property and corrected their billing based on the actual length of fencing installed. I received a refund for my overpayment.
Absolutely love our new white vinyl fence from CalCoast Fencing. The whole process was smooth from estimate to installation. The crew was professional, on time, and paid attention to every detail. The fence completely changed the look of our backyard and gives us much more privacy. Quality feels very solid and clean. Highly recommend them if you want a modern, low maintenance fence.

After considering another company to do a vinyl fencing job between our house and our neighbor’s, I decided to call CalCoast after seeing their exceptional reviews. Gerard came out and gave us an estimate that beat the other company by quite a bit and was very helpful in coordinating the split payment.
My neighbor is also doing the other side of their yard with that neighbor.
Arthur and his crew came to do the installation today and was very communicative in letting us know what needed to be done and the best option for installing a gate. He and the crew did a great job with the installation and clean up and were careful not to trample nearby plants. After it was completed, Arthur walked us through to be sure we were pleased with everything.
