End of a long day and my garage door broke, in the open position, after 5pm on a Sunday. The response window was 8-midnight. They arrived just past 8pm and handled it in short order. By handled I mean, replaced the broken parts with much sturdier ones. Very impressive.

Danny Pena came to service my 21 year old garage door. It had never been serviced before. He tested everything and said that the spring & the rollers needed to be replaced. He installed new ones & now it’s running smoothly and it’s very quiet again!
Now, I’m giving Precision Garage Doors 4 Stars, rather than 5 Stars because Danny initially quoted me $1,181.00 for those two items. I balked at that price, so he said he could lower it a little bit. I ended up saving $332.00 and paying $849.00.
I think the company, Precision Garage Door Company, needs to have their prices “locked in” and not have “Willy Nilly” pricing because it doesn’t bode well for their reputation if they’re trying to get as much money as they can from a customer. For me, it left a bad taste in my mouth because I had no idea if the “new price” was even reasonable & was trusting that it was. (On an off note, this morning I asked ChatGPT this question: “I live in San Luis Obispo County in California. Based on that, how much does it typically cost for a garage door spring and rollers to be installed including the service on them, too?”
The initial thing CHAT GPT stated that due to the location, it is a little higher than the national average. Then, it went on to give three different levels of pricing. The most common total was $400 - $800. Then, it explained when quotes go higher and why based on different factors.
Before I end this long Review, I wanted to say that Danny Pena was absolutely wonderful! He arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable, very professional and explained everything in detail. Precision is very lucky to have such a great employee!

The company made an appointment for a quick check up and tuneup of my garage door & it was found that the cables were in very bad shape and the technician showed me the problem and it was approved to replace them, which he did in a timely manner & was professional and they know what they’re doing. I’ve used them many times before & I would recommend this company to anybody needing garage door or garage door opener services.
I needed an emergency garage door repair. Called Precision and they were excellent in setting up a convenient time. The service technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The Technician was professional and repaired the door promptly.
Will definitely consult with this firm when I need garage door service in the future.

My car was stuck in my garage because the spring broke and the emergency latch wouldn’t allow me to open the door. When I called, their customer service lady was so nice and helpful. She was able to get the service guy to my house asap and he saved the day. Highly recommend. Great company all around!
