This little hole in the wall is a local favourite, this place is steadily busy during the day. When you walk in, you're struck by the atmosphere: retro oldies are playing in the air, the clatter of the kitchen, the murmur of the patrons, clinking tableware....all very, very cool. Everything served is good, solid diner fare that's well prepared and served quickly. My truckers breakfast was enormous with fluffy pancakes, sausages done just right and eggs at the perfect requested over medium doneness. Mrs. Meal Ticket had the poutine and it was a thump of fries served with real curds and hot brown gravy. Nothing is fancy, but it's prepared competently and served fast and hot. The servers know who's local, who's regular and who's new right away. They're a bit harried so getting their attention can be a bit challenging, but they are polite and efficient.

Been here twice recently and had great quality food. Each time we all had different items and really enjoyed what we had. The food was delicious, it’s our new go to for breakfast or lunch eats. The prices are amazing. We had the (best) eggs Benny, the clubhouse sandwich, the cheeseburger, the all day breakfast and the pancakes and bacon. Shout out…those hash browns are so, so good. See you soon.

Updated review 2025. Its now 32 years of eating at this diner. Unfortunately I can't keep this at 5 stars. 2 stars now. 🌟 🌟 They have recently changed ownership and I have visited a few times, hoping to receive the same fast, friendly food. My 2nd favourite owners were in 1994. She refused to give me pickles 🚫🥒🥒🚫 because she cared about my health, which i still find funny & wholesome today. The most recent and my favourite owners wanted to retire and their son was quite heart 💔 broken he couldn't take on the business. But as a good son he supported their decision. It must have been painful for them all. They sold sometime in 2025. Prices have obviously gone up in 2026, but i've noticed a shift in general cleanliness, staff interaction and food quality but a bigger reason I won't return was the customer bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It looked like a wet beastie thrashed about in there until it died. Toilet paper, fecal matter, bits of food and sludge was all over every surface. I disenfected my boots after taking 2 steps in there. If that's how they keep their customer bathroom, I dont think I can trust them to feed me. I hope the new owners can do better! Previous review full 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 review: 31 years I've enjoyed the food & people here. Obviously the owners have changed over the years, but the place is still the best. Excellent service, fast good food. 👍

Thanks for sharing your story. Our washrooms are cleaned daily and as needed. If a mess is made during a visit, letting our staff know allows us to clean it immediately. As shared spaces, issues can also occur between cleanings.

Tiny place, very basic but awesome! I wanted breakfast so I didn't look at the other side of the menu. I know there were a lot of options though. The bacon eggs benedict were delicious. A generous amount of hash browns were also perfect. Service was great. It's a small place so it's easy to keep an eye on the tables, but both servers were continually checking if we wanted coffee refills or water. They were helpful and not overbearing. The place was clean, including the restrooms. We sat around after our lunch and chatted. We didn't feel rushed to leave. I'll definitely be back and my friend said he would return for the hash browns.

Jan 14 2026 update That Denver sandwich is now much better! Maybe even better than prior 😁 Great food. great staff Love the breakfasts this is still my goto for a diner breakfast! Aug 22 update New owners a few months ago: Mushroom burger and fries, just as good as always. 2nd time back: Fries and gravy still GREAT Denver sandwich Nowhere near as good as it was. Bread not toasted Amount of egg a lot less Green pepper and onion tiny sparse peices Yet to come back and try breakfast Aug 27 2025 Back for breakfast finally My favorite meal Not quite the same but still very good Coffee is better 😱 Portion size the same, Potatoes and sausage cooked a little different but still great Service is good as always ( I do miss seeing Ed) Overall still a great diner to visit

Lovely place, nice people and the food is great. Prices are fair, some of it high (side order of hash browns) ... Overall fantatic. I would go back. Not that much for vegetarians.

We try to come once a week! We love it here, the service is always amazing and the food never disappoints. The perfect little diner for those crappy rainy Vancouver days. The best greasy spoon, but the foods never greasy ;)

Good food, service is just ok. Novelty of an old school is there but only worth a single visit. Entitled worker are expecting a larger tip. They try a little bit too hard. Ruin the dinning experience for customers to repeat.
