A very positive experience as a seller selling items. I mainly worked with and Steve and he was awesome. I am super impressed with his work ethic, transparency and drive to get items to sell. I never sold anything in an auction before and he was very informative on how things work.

I attended the August 17, 2025 “No Reserve Live Auction” held by BB Realty/Busy Beever Auctions in Independence, MO.
The auction was advertised as a No Reserve event, which under Missouri law means sellers are not permitted to bid on their own items. Despite this, I personally observed at least one consignor actively bidding on his own lots. This was never disclosed in the terms and conditions or by the auctioneer.
This practice is not only unethical, but also illegal under Missouri auction law, which prohibits seller bidding in absolute/no-reserve auctions. Allowing consignors to compete against legitimate bidders undermines trust, inflates prices unfairly, and damages the integrity of the auction process.
As a bidder, I expect transparency and compliance with the law. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether this company operates with the honesty and professionalism that buyers deserve.
This particular auction was a no reserve auctiom. Our client which in fact signed the a contract to sell his items did not bid at any point in time. No lawas were broken. We do realize however you did not get the items you were interested in and wish you luck on your bids nextime.We also appreciate your attendance and following.

We used them to prepare for a cross country move. It was worth every penny to not have to pack, pay for movers, or sell the stuff on our own. Steven truly went above and beyond to prepare for the auction - he spent countless hours staging items, preparing for a preview, and even hauled away anything not sold. It was a great experience!

This was the most fun auction I ever experienced in my life ! Absolutely, fantastic antiques that you never see in this part of the country! Wow ! Stunning! I love my federal lolling chair and my spider leg candle stand (both date to about 1810) that I purchased. Beautiful!
