A trip up the highest tower in the world is a must while being in Dubai. We went to the highest point with the tickets we had, the views are some of the best in the world, while being on one of the floors you can have pictures taken you also get given food and drink. The gift shop is on both floors one is slightly bigger than the other. Would recommend trying to catch the sun go down if you’re lucky so try time it right. If you’re worried about the lifts you can’t even feel them move which is strange. A must see in Dubai! When you’re done make sure you get a boat on the fountain and watch the show via the boat it’s pricy but worth it no crowds of people either!

Definitely something you want to do here and I’d been aching to go up. If it hadn’t been for the hefty price difference between the tickets, I’d have gone up to floor 150. The view is great, unlike any skyscraper and even if the weather isn’t perfect, you’ll have a good view. Ticked that off my bucket list !
That being said, the queue is a drawback. 30-45 minutes to get up and no one is there checking how long you’ve been up there. So this leads to clogged spaces and people everywhere. So much so that we stood in line for something that wasn’t the exit, when the exit line was much shorter. You’re basically paying for an elevator ride up, a few pictures (which is a nice bonus, but in this day and age it’s not necessary and most people are fine doing this by themselves) and fighting your way to a viewpoint, free window, etc. It’s a cynical way to look at it, but other places do it better, sorry… This definitely took away some enjoyment and if I had to do it again, I might pay for the skip-the-queue ticket or go further up. It just felt a bit underwhelming, once it was done and dusted
