These folks are great! Front desk was over and above helpful in assisting with paperwork and insurance and provided great reassurance for an anxious patient. The dentist was efficient without any rushing; he has a gentle touch, gave explanations of what would happen next. I found it charming that he sometimes hummed along with the music playlist.
Should I need an endodontist again, this is where I will go.
I was very concerned when I found out that I needed root canal surgery through my gums directly to the roots. Fortunately, the Burien Endodontics staff and their services provided were fantastic. The office staff preparation was excellent in their care and understanding to keep me calm and explain the process. The doctor and his team was efficient and clearly communicated throughout the surgery.
The recovery process after a day and a half has been minimal. I followed their instructions and have minimal soreness and swelling.
I am not recommending that anyone get a root canal, but if you have to, I highly recommend Burien Endodontics.

My primary dentist referred me to Burien Endodontics for a root canal. Dr. Tomala and his staff at Burien Endodontics took excellent care of me. I had postponed going in for the root canal, as I’d never had one and was worried about the procedure. The tooth became very painful and I simply couldn’t wait any longer. I contacted their office and they thankfully got me right in, relieved the pain immediately, evaluated my tooth and performed the procedure. I couldn’t have asked for better service from their staff, and the coordination between Burien Endodontics and Watermark Dentistry. 100%

If U ever needs root canal 🦷… go to Mathew Tomala … this is my second visit .. and there professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff make a difference if U R in pain … Dr. Tomala is excellent.. he is fast , very good.. he needs not 5 .. but 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️… They will make it work with U schedule, tell U up front what is UR portion U have to pay .. Where I can find dentist like dr Tomala
I had a really good experience with Dr. Mathew Tomala at Burien Endodontics. The staff was friendly and helpful from the start, and the office was clean and well organized. Dr. Tomala explained everything in a simple way and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.
I was nervous before the appointment, but he was patient and calm, which really helped. The procedure went smoothly and wasn’t painful at all. I felt well taken care of and respected as a patient.

The literally best experience I have ever had at Dental office. When you enter the office you are greeted with a pleasant smile from Linna and across from her is the very knowledgeable billing manager Yery. These two ladies are very attentive and friendly. Linna is Dr. Tomala's assistant she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She is very caring and makes sure you are doing okay. Dr Tomala is by far the best endodontist I have been to. They were able to schedule me for an emergency appointment the same day and they even did my root canal the same time. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The expertise of the whole staff in the office is a rare find. Please if you are a nervous patient like me. Do not hesitate to contact Burien Endodontics. My overall experience was terrific.
Ran on time. Efficient with assessment, treatment and scheduling for next appointment. Appreciated draping to protect clothing. Followed up next day. Worked with concerns for anxiety. I hope not to need their service again, but would go again if needed.
I had a tooth emergency when I was in the area and my tooth cracked. I totally freaked out I googled and found Dr. Tomala. He is amazing. They got me in right away and he and his staff were amazing. I highly recommend them!
I was referred by my dentist because of an inflamed root canal, and I have to say I am not disappointed with Dr. Tomala at all. He is very kind and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the treatment and surgery, he explained everything clearly and made sure I knew exactly what was happening.
I also really appreciate the entire team—the receptionists, dental hygienists, and staff were all wonderful and made me feel comfortable. I honestly wish I had come to see them sooner!

Had a great experience. Doctor Tomala and his assistant were great. I loved how the assistant patted my shoulder before the injections, it was distracting enough not to notice! The root canal procedure went well and I experienced absolutely no pain. Only thing is I noticed a small chip on my bottom right tooth after the root canal procedure when I got home. I went back to my regular dentist and he said that it shouldn’t be a problem. But I was little bit upset by that because I noticed it and so the 4stars. Beyond that everything went well and even a week and a half later I’m in no pain. Would still definitely recommend them. They will take good care of you.
I will say that this was one of the best experiences I had especially dealing with dental work the front staff were so helpful and the technicians were knowledgeable and skilled in their profession they earned my trust. Hands down the best I would recommend this office every time hope you have a great experience as I did.
