It was great working with Daniel from Burdett Metals, unlike the previous scrap merchants who failed to use the information provided and wasted my time. This was an easy experience from my point of veiw to collect a range of different metals. The lads took care of the collection easily and efficiently and payment was made within an hour of getting the load back to the yard.

Hy there. I just want it to get rid of my old gearbox..and i was thinking to take some cash on it! I arrived there and one guy from forklift told me that "we cannot pay les than £10"= totally agreed..no offence! But my question is a van gearbox us weighing around 50kgs.. how is posibile to be under £10???is less than 20p/kg?? Anyway i lefter there...just to not carrying anymore in van! But anyways....you cannot tricking customers like that! Bad atitude!!😡😡

Good morning, thank you for review… we are an honest family run business for over 60 years and our staff wouldn’t trick anyone especially £10, the staff only explained to you if it doesn’t meet our policy of £10 we do an “IOU” for future material you may have… if you left it because you didn’t want it in your van anymore then it’s down to you? Its still here where you left it and feel free to take it back…
