A bit cheeky with the types of reports, so be careful if you’re enquiring via website. If you select verbal, they won’t actually provide a report at all. Apparently that’s cheaper than a normal report ($600 for no report is steep). So I guess I got what I requested, but feel ripped off. Inspection was ok, felt a bit haphazard with no checklist or plan, but did highlight some things (from what I was able to remember).

The whole process with Alert Building Inspections was seamless. Irene handled my query very professionally and ensured I had the right inspector for the job, which involved a very large home. Craig, who inspected the property, was friendly and helpful. His inspection was carried out carefully, but unobtrusively. Used this company twice during house hunting and I would highly recommend them.
Both Irene and Joe are wonderful to deal with and are extremely punctual and professional.

Irene was absolutely top class. She was easy to deal with and kept everything simple and clear. On the day of the inspection, Craig, the inspector, called immediately after completing the inspection.
