Silk Route with BUDGET TRIP - The Most Beautiful 5 Days of Our Lives ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From booking till the day we returned home, the entire journey was flawless. For people like us from the plains, the mountains are a dream. Turned that dream into reality, with zero stress.
1. Planning & Communication: 10/10
From day one BUDGET TRIP from the agency was in constant touch. They explained everything in detail over calls and WhatsApp. No last-minute surprises, no hidden costs. What they promised in the itinerary, they delivered. That transparency is rare these days.
2. Homestays: Warmer Than Home*
We stayed at homestays in Rishikhola , Zuluk, and Gangtok . Every single one was picture-perfect, but the real treasure was the people. The rooms were spotless, 24-hour hot water was available, and the balconies opened straight to Mt. Kanchenjunga. Waking up to that view - you can’t put a price on it. It felt like we were guests at a relative’s house, not customers.
3. Food: Simple, Fresh, and Soul-Satisfying*
I was honestly worried about food in the hills, especially for my son. But every single meal was good. Hot rice, dal, egg/chicken curry for lunch and dinner. Puri-sabzi , and maggi for breakfast. Everything was home-cooked, fresh, and served with love. They even made soft khichdi separately for my kid without us asking twice. Way better than any city restaurant.
4. Our Driver: The Real MVP Our driver, "Tapan pradhan" Dada
, deserves a separate 5-star review. The Silk Route means Zuluk’s 32 hairpin bends, fog, rain, and narrow roads. In his hands, the car felt like a feather. We never felt unsafe for a second. More than a driver, he was our guide, photographer, and guardian all rolled into one. “Dada please stop, photo point!” or “Dada let’s take a tea break” - he did everything with a smile. Took us to all the best view points for photos. This tour would be incomplete without him.
5. Itinerary & Sightseeing: Perfectly Paced
Never felt rushed, never felt bored. Sunrise at Rishikhola homestay, Thambi View Point, the elephant-shaped Kupup Lake, blessings at Old Baba Mandir, yaks at Gnathang Valley - the timing was perfect for each spot. Enough time to actually enjoy, not just tick boxes.

Thanks, Dada—this truly means a lot. Your words aren’t just feedback; they’re the kind of strength and encouragement that keep us pushing to do better every day. I really hope our paths cross again soon.
