This place has been a God send. Dr. Chavarria and his staff are AMAZING!! I have been coming here for the past year. My son was hospitalized for asthma and needed to see a pulmonologist. When I called UCLA to get an appt. They told me it was going to be 7 months til I can see someone. I googled drs in the area and came upon this office because of the reviews and I am so happy I did. It's a bit of a drive for me but for the care we receive here It's worth it. They are the absolute best!!! My son is doing great thanks to them.

We highly recommend Dr. Chavarria and his nurse practitioner, Mickey. Our son's health had declined significantly and they did an excellent job of explaining what was occurring and the significance of the treatment process. They made a very complex treatment plan easy to implement and followed up with us with great care. As a parent, their staff eased our anxiety and made us feel confident about the lengthy process ahead. We highly recommend both of them, as our son has made many gains since he began with them.

Dr. Chavarria is an Angel from God. He took care of my 3 immuno compromised children until they were adults. Honestly, without Dr. Chavarria my children would not have made it to adults. My son has been a patient for over a year. I waited to put this comment because of previous experiences with other doctors. I’m so happy I found him. Dr.Chavarria and his office staff are amazing. I was jumping from doctors to doctors regarding my son’s wheezing and when an urgent care doctor suggested to find a pulmonologist I went online and found Dr. Chavarria. I can honestly say he helped my son get back to a normal routine and is now able to run and swim. Lastly, for every breathing episode they would call me right away. I appreciate everything they’ve done.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Chavarria since October (about 5 times now) and I just want to say what an amazing doctor he is! Very attentive, caring and he listens and asks questions and explains everything! Their appointments are always quick (but never ever rushed!) and I’ve never had to wait to see him. His team is also amazing as well! Caring and professional! Only if every doctors office could be this way!! Thank you so much for taking care of my baby! You and your team are so appreciated!

My daughter has been in and out of ERs monthly, hospitalized 10+ nights at a time with low oxygen, seen allergists, immunologists, pulmonologists, etc nonstop for the past 3 years. That came to an immediate end 9 months ago only once we met w Dr. Chavarría. Dr. Chavarría is an innovative doctor. He really listens and tries medications and strategies that others haven't even thought of (let alone understand). Moreover, it seems his goal of any medication is for it to be high impact and in turn eliminate all medications that aren’t actively proving effective. My daughter is now only on one daily medication (vs 8 daily meds last year) and instead we use intervention strategies that work. She is growing, happy, thriving… and as parents WE can finally breathe. When you’re up against a wall and don’t know where to turn next to help your kid who is struggling to breathe, call Dr. Chavarría.

Dr Chavarria and staff are absolutely outstanding. My son was sick for months and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him. His assistant, Sonia was able to squeeze us in and we couldn’t be more grateful!!The doctor took his time explaining everything to us and the attention and care he gave my son was amazing. My son is doing so much better now and on the road to recover. They are professional, knowledgeable and so caring. We are lucky to be in his care.
