Today, we faced one of the hardest moments of our lives — saying goodbye to our beautiful Bella. After calling several places, we found Dr. Shepherd , and I truly believe we were guided to him for a reason. His compassion, gentleness, and the love he showed our girl were more than we could have ever asked for. He treated Bella as if she were his own, giving us endless patience, space, and comfort as we held her for the last time. In home euthanasia was peaceful and took away some of the stress of going to a vet hospital. Bridges in-Home Euthanasia really helped us out in our time of need.

Dr. Shepherd was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for such a peaceful experience with having to let my 17-year-old cat, Meko, go. Meko was always nervous and uncomfortable going to the vet. Dr. Shepherd came right to the house so Meko could feel comfortable in his home during his last moments. It was one of the most sad experiences I’ve ever had to go through, but Dr Shepherd made us feel no pressure and gave us as much time as we needed through the process to grieve and say goodbye. He provided us with clay paw prints that our children could keep and he gave us some fur that we will hold on to and cherish forever. We also were amazed on how fast we were able to receive Meko’s ashes back.

He is very patient, there is no rush, and he was wonderful with our daughter as this was her first experience saying goodbye.
