Brian and Donna are really special people who care passionately about what they do and are front and centre throughout the whole process.Everything from the respect they showed, the service and gathering afterwards including food and refreshments was first class.I met them at a very emotional and difficult time and they were so wonderful to myself and the family I really cant thank them enough. I was left in no doubt that everything would be taken care of and it was . No rushing in and out of a crematorium we were able to use the premises for as long as needed on the day .Every time we came in we felt their compassion.and empathy, with a splash of humour here and there as they really understood what my husband was about . I have had so many people say they have never been to such a wonderful service which celebrated my husbands life and the person he was and it was something that resonated with everyone .I honestly felt reassured to leave my husband in their care and also we all felt supported and cared for every step of the way . Brian and Donna offer something different , truly personal and bespoke.They are professional and personable and make themselves available at all times ( day and night) I am glad that I put my trust in them they are unique people. THANK YOU with all my heart ❤️

We are so very grateful to Brian & Donna for making our whole experience an easy one at a difficult time. From our initial enquiry to our father’s service, nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we had questions or needed help planning. The ambience in the room where the service was held was very calming and tranquil. We wanted a celebration of our father’s life and not a sombre occasion. Not sure what I expected people who run a funeral home to be like, certainly not like Donna and Brian. From the moment I called them, they went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt they genuinely cared. Having never organised a funeral before they gently guided us, ensuring my dad got the send off he deserved. Trying to accommodate the wishes of us all was never going to be easy, how do you deal with some wanting a private service, others wanting a bigger celebration of life, not a problem Brian conducted a small service in their chapel before heading to the crematorium. Plans changing just before the start of the service, no worries, Donna had it all under control.I am truly grateful for the support,care and friendship they have offered at such a low point, thank you both.

Went to visit my baby nephew in there little robin chapel , Donna and Brian made me and my children feel so welcome and were so caring and friendly , I would highly recommend Donna and Brian to take care of your loved one the care and compassion they showed to me and my family was outstanding a very relaxed atmosphere which is what is needed when going through the pain of losing a loved one . I was looking for a funeral directors for my baby’s funeral and came across bridee whyte after always seeing the home in my town. I had a really strong feeling to go with them and my feeling was not wrong. From the first phone call I had with Donna I could tell that this is more than just a business to them. From the moment I went and met Donna and Brian I knew that the worse time in my life was in the hands of angels. From the moment my baby was ready to be collected right up until the first viewing I had with my baby my heart was at peace knowing my baby was having true love and care and treated with love like Gerry was their own family. Death is something we true to avoid thinking about and making plans about but honestly when the time comes rest assured Donna and Brian are the people you want taking care of your loved one. I feel I have truly made friends for life out of heartache.

I have never been to a funeral like this before my dear Aunty .we were looked after as soon as we came in the door the care they took of my Aunty as well was very special the service was nice and respectful and we all spoke of ate great memories. Donna and Brian from Bridee Whyte are an amazing couple and very professional. From the moment we met them,we were put at ease and helped with all the arrangements, even phone calls to make sure we were ok. So instantly knew that it was the best place for our special sister Gillian to be looked after until her funeral which was held in their beautiful Chapel. It was so serene, with choice of lighting, I chose a subtle Purple - and my Eulogy (helped by Brian and read by him) photographs set to music were amazing. We lit candles after the ceremony to put on her coffin beside the things she treasured. With refreshments before and after the ceremony it was truly very special and memorable.We would highly recommend that this is the way forward and at Bridee Whyte it was perfect in every way - can’t thank you both enough, Lesley Ray Barbara and family x

Where do I even start....from the moment we walked in we were welcomed with genuine support and care. Brian and Donna facilitated everything, they kept us up to date and really went the extra mile, nothing was too much for them. Losing our mom was one of the hardest moments of our lives, but Brian and Donna walked the journey with us, took care of our mom with such grace, honour and dignity and were always a WhatsApp or phone call away if we needed anything. I lost my dearest and bestest friend back in January. She lived in HH and I live on the coast. I wanted a local funeral directors but not a corporate one, I wanted a family run business if possible to handle her arrangements. I had absolutely no idea who to appoint (being from out of town) so I went solely on Google reviews and gut instinct. I read the excellent reviews for Bridee Whyte and thought I’d go in and get a feel for the business. From the moment I stepped in and met Donna and Brian, I knew instantly that they were the correct choice. I was of course an emotional wreck and completely new to the process but I instantly knew I was in the very best of hands. Not only are they both so compassionate, empathetic and the kindest of souls, but they are highly knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. They kept me informed every step of the way and allowed me to give my friend the best and most memorable send off that she deserved. They held my hand every step of the way and brought light, laughter and courage into a place of sadness and uncertainty for myself. I can’t thank them both enough. They are unique individuals with a unique and beautiful funeral home full of love and light. Thank you Donna and Brian for looking after my friend with the upmost care and sensitivity.
