I flew to St. George to go to Brain Health Center for a five-day TMS treatment because it cost slightly less (without them taking insurance, and with the cost of the flight and hotel) than it would have for me to do a traditional TMS course of treatment (with insurance) in my hometown. It was absolutely worth it. The accelerated TMS protocol has even better outcomes than the traditional course of treatment, and it was nice to be able to focus on the treatment for five days rather than have to go every week for months (as is traditionally the case for TMS). Everyone at the Brain Health Center was kind, professional, and compassionate. Several of the employees have undergone TMS treatment themselves and seen a tremendous improvement in their own lives. The facility is clean and pleasant. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. They have thought of so many details to make your time at the Brain Health Center go by quickly and comfortably—they assign you a private room stocked with snacks and drinks, a TV with streaming services, Wi-Fi, a couch that can fold down into a bed if you want to take a nap, a pillow and blanket, and a desk to work at. They even get you whatever you want from DoorDash (up to $25) for lunch every day. Luke Haws, the clinical director, customizes your treatment plan and the areas of your brain to target based on your diagnosis and history. The treatments themselves were, for me, unpleasant but not painful, and they have a TV in the treatment room to make the time go by faster. If you are considering TMS treatment, I wholeheartedly recommend Brain Health Center.
My 17 yo son had a great experience at the Brain Health Center; so much so that he said he didn’t want to come home after his 5 day treatment! He said all the staff were so kind and friendly. He and Luke had great conversations and Rafael was very helpful and informative. So far my son's depression has really seemed to be improving and it’s only been a week post treatment. I have high hopes his anxiety will also improve. I highly recommend TMS therapy at the Brain health center- it should be everyone’s first option!!
The week that I spent at the Brain Center was very well managed. The staff was very well organized and did their tasks very efficiently. They were all very friendly, caring, and interested in providing the best possible experience. I had complete confidence in them. Of course I was there seeking improvement in my depression and anxiety. I am not feeling improvements yet but have been assured that it can take time for the healing to occur.

I cannot say enough about the great experience I had at The Brain Health Center. The Center is set up with healing as its top priority. The Center provided comfortable suites with amenities available to rest and heal in between TMS sessions. Most importantly, I enjoyed getting to know all of the staff throughout my time in St. George. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, open, kind and supportive. I could not be more grateful for the team at Brain Health Center and all of the ways they helped me. I have waited a little over a month since my treatment to write this review so that I can give an honest opinion of my experience afterwards.
I have dealt with depression fairly consistently for the last 10 years. It wasn't always terrible, but I would frequently have suicidal thoughts or hopes. I just felt miserable in this life. Like nothing was supposed to work out for me and that I would spend the remainder of my adult life dealing with those feelings. I have been on and off several different medications as well as consistently attending therapy for the last several years with the hopes of pulling out of my depression. While these things did help a little, I never felt like I was completely okay.
I came across BHC by accident. I had never heard of TMS therapy but felt that it would be worth a try since nothing else has worked. Everything from my first phone call with Rafael was so helpful. The team there is very friendly and helpful. They also have all had experiences either personally or with a loved one that has been dealing with the same struggles I do. They all related and understand incredibly well how difficult life can be sometimes. I decided to schedule a week of accelerated therapy and its the most helpful thing I have ever experienced.
All of the workers were so kind and helpful during my stay there. There are several workers that administer the treatments, but I don't have a single complaint about anyone that I met or interacted with. The director, Luke, was also so helpful in finding out what I am struggling with and what parts of my brain they would need to work on to provide some relief from the things I struggled with.
One of my biggest concerns with this treatment was that when I finished, I would be coming home to the exact same circumstances that were causing me to feel depressed. I worried I would fall right back to struggling. Thankfully, my attitude about life and its challenges since treatment is so much different than it was before treatment. I am dealing with the same problems, but now I am so much more optimistic about life than I was. I still experience normal emotions. I will have sad days and I will have hard days. But every day I am able to pull out of it instead of staying stuck in a slump. I am no longer trapped feeling like the only way to resolve my problems would be to end my life.
My friends and family feel like I am new person. I am much more present and happy now when we get together. I can laugh and I am the happiest I have been in such a long time, even with the struggles I still experience. Before treatment, I was so preoccupied with my internal emotions that I was hardly present while spending time with them. I am very optimistic that the therapy will continue to work and that life with continue to improve as I move forward.
I cannot thank the team at BHC enough for what they do. I am so grateful that this treatment is available and I would recommend coming here to anyone that has been stuck in a slump. It really has made all the difference for me. It has saved my life and also brought genuine happiness back into my every day life. I wish I could thank BHC over and over for the difference they have made in my life. It is the best thing I have ever decided to do for myself. Please trust that this therapy is so helpful and effective for those that are struggling. At first I was nervous about the cost, but I would pay it over and over again if I knew it was going to make this big of a difference in my everyday life.
Seeking help in the middle of your storm can be very difficult. I was in the fight for my life when I found The Brain Health Center. I was hesitant about TMS. I spoke to Rafael the center director, he answered every single question I had with patience, kindness, a complete understanding.
The day I came for my treatment, the team was beyond amazing. To say this care team is outstanding is not doing them justice.
The care and love and warmth each team member put into my treatment was honestly as healing and restoring as the treatment itself. No judgement, or short or snippy unhappy to be at work attitude. They laughed with me, some cried with me. I can’t count the hugs shared. I felt safe, seen, heard, and cared about.
Absolute 10/10 recommend.
I’m still in the first week out of treatment so I’m not sure how the therapy has settled within me yet but will update again in 6 weeks for treatment results.

My daughter was treated at the Brain Health Center almost 2 years ago for her depression. She has progressed over that time. Had to go into work when she was not feeling well and haven’t slept all night. Then she realized. This is how she felt 24/7 for 15 years before her treatment at the Brain Health Center. She feels great and is so happy. She’s no longer depressed. She got her life back. Literally.
Amazing experience
When I got Approached to possibly try TMS treatments at the Brain center, I was A little nervous. I wasn’t sure what to expect honestly. I decided to go ahead and do it. I was Ready to feel better. This whole experience was absolutely amazing. The whole week I was There was beyond expectation. The staff there was phenomenal they walk you through everything so you know just what to expect. They make you so comfortable and if you have any questions or concerns they are right there to answer them. The TMS treatment itself was something I’d never felt but it was such a great experience. I now Feel better and my anxiety isn’t as high and I feel Like I can Focus most days. I would recommend going to the Brain Center to anyone who wants to help their mental health and feel better. Truly you will not regret doing this one thing for yourself. It’s worth it!

Edit: The effects wore off after a few months. But I have read that sometimes people have bad reactions to TMS and it seems to depend on the machine used and I did not have any negative effects from the treatment here.
I did the accelerated depression treatment with as much anxiety treatment mixed in as I could get (they say the anxiety treatment can't be accelerated as much since you should go at least 4 hours in between anxiety treatments, so they normally do one treatment a day for 6 weeks) . I am going to try and find someone near where I am now living so I can continue the spaced out anxiety treatments.
I had to interrupt my originally scheduled, accelerated TM's treatment because I started to go through benzo withdrawal. They let me come back without having to pay again for the days I couldn't do because I stopped to taper off benzos first. I had the option of redoing the sessions I already completed, but I would have to pay for that of course. I opted for that because I wanted to myself the best chance of success.
The overall discount both my mother and I received was very generous and the staff is wonderful and they really take care of you.
It has only been 2 days since end of my 5-day treatment, but I already could tell I was feeling muxh better on the 4th day and today I still feel tons better than on my first day.
My sister says I sound, look, and act a lot better than when she last saw me.
The Brain Health Center is a state-of-the-art and one-of-a kind facility!! The treatment itself is top-notch, and 10 months post treatment I have never been better. In addition, every single employee goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for and prioritized. I am so happy I found this extraordinary treatment center, and tell everyone I know who may struggle with anything brain/mental health related to please take the leap! You won’t regret it, and in fact, it will be one of the best decisions you could ever make for yourself.
I Can't begin to describe my experience with the Brain Health Center. Everyone there was exceptional at making you comfortable and relaxed. You want for nothing while there and almost hate to have your time end. I highly recommend this for your mental health!
5 stars isn’t enough stars to give! BHC changed my life and saved it. I had looked into other facilities in my home state that cost twice as much and didn’t provide you with a private space like BHC. I didn’t want to leave, everyone there truly sees and hears you and works so hard to make sure your needs are met so you only have to worry about healing Before I arrived, I didn’t have much hope left- I got myself and my life back
