The inspector called the work of the BQ Electricians "Picture perfect. Neat and tidy." BQ put in a new electrical box for me then subsequently rewired a large part of our 105 year old house to eliminate the old and dangerous knob and tube wiring. Their electricians were professional, knowledgable, polite, tidy, prompt, reliable. The office staff was very responsive too. They did a great job. I have since referred them to a friend who was also well impressed. If I could give them a ten star rating I would.
Brian C came to our property’s today and did an excellent job with resolving our electrical issue. He was very professional and went above and beyond to get both issues resolved for our residents which was greatly appreciated! I would recommend this company and request for Brian to handle all my electrical issues in the future.
BQ installed LED replacement hi hats and a completely new electrical panel + whole house surge protector in my home on 4/13/26. From the moment I contacted them, everything was handled in a most professional and courteous manner. Scheduling was super easy, the kept in contact via phone and text to verify the service appointment and time of arrival and "the two Davids" (technicians) were outstanding in every possible way. They covered the entire work areas with plastic sheeting and after they finished, the home was spotlessly clean. I am totally pleased with their work. I am a BQ customer for life!

I needed an electrical certificate for the town. The electrician Brian Chacon is experienced, thorough and spends much time going over other areas, pointing to few other problems with my electrical system.
The Administrative support: Kaitlyn O’Donnell and Leah Nicolich are professional and very helpful in explaining the process and following up with timely appointments for electrical lines installation needs.

The old company I used to use is no longer as good as it used to be. I won't mention any names because I'm not vindictive. But I looked for a new company and found BQ Electric. When I first called, a very friendly woman answered right away. I was satisfied right from the very first telephone call, where I spoke to a woman (I forget her name) who was impressively efficient, informative and organized. She knew how to listen, and she knew how to give me all of the information I needed clearly and succinctly. She listened patiently as I described my situation: in my zeal to remove old dead cables outside on the side of the house, I had cut many of them but had accidentally cut through an electric wire which fed an indoor A/C unit (I don't advise anyone to try this--I was lucky I wasn't electrocuted!). After telling her all this, I hardly needed to ask any questions, because she gave me all the information I needed and told me how we could proceed. I scheduled a "service call" (for which they charge $99, but that amount was credited back to me after having accepted one of their proposals). The next day licensed electrician Bryon Chacon came & did the initial evaluation, which took about a half hour. Again I was impressed in the most positive way. He too was extremely efficient, informative & organized. He told me exactly (in detail) what he would do to fix things. He also said that the line that I had cut had not been installed (years ago) according to code and should not have been exposed anyway (it should have been in a conduit). He then went into his van and in about 15 minutes prepared 4 different proposals, all of them detailed and professional, with the price breakdowns, which he emailed to me right away. I took the weekend to peruse them and decided on the "Peace of Mind" proposal, which included an all-house surge protector (I decided for this because so many appliances have electronics these days: dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer, etc., I figured it would be worth the investment). Bryon and his helper Daniel came a few days later and fixed the cut electric line, brought it up to code and removed the excess dead cables outside. They filled in all the holes with silicone. Now the entire area looks clean. Inside, they replaced 3 broken outlets and installed the whole-house surge protector. They were here for about 3-4 hours and were both very efficient, polite, attentive to every detail (including wearing cloth booties on their feet so they wouldn't track any outdoor dust into the house!). I usually don't write such detailed reviews but this company deserved it. I'm glad I found them.
Normally we don't look forward to home repairs of any kind, but our experience with BQ Electric far surpassed our expectations. First Joe gave us a detailed, free on-site estimate to swap out an old ceiling fan. We appreciated Joe's knowledge/professionalism so much that we gave him a deposit immediately.
Two days later Steve and Francisco (fabulous techs) arrived on time and did the complex, time-consuming job perfectly. They took away all debris and left our space immaculate.
BQ isn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. After all who wants to stint on electrical work? Highly recommend!
