ADDING AN UPDATE from service 4/29/26: Today Wyatt and Cameron came for my "Spring" yearly check of my heating and cooling system.
AS ALWAYS fantrastic service and the team of "dynamic duo" Cameron and Wyatt gave advice, were effecient, arrived on time, and gave me such confidence in Bower Heating and Cooling! They noticed my system was working a bit hard on "start up" based on calibrations they took. However, they will watch the reading for my next cleaning and visit and we will move on it only if necessary.
How awesome is that.....they will make notes in my file and take care of it only if required. It is so important to have a team you can trust.
I highly recommend Bower Heating & Cooling to any Roanoke area home owner!! They care and they have kind dependable technicians!

----------Bower Heating and Air sent out a serviceman named Cameron. I have never had a technician this courteous, efficient, kind, and knowledgeable! I could tell he is a man of character when he helped me understand my two thermostats and how they operated!. He explained everything he did today to my home’s heating and air. Everything about Cameron radiated excellence and an appreciation of every customer. I will definitely ask for him again and at the end of my yearly service, sign up again!

Bower Heating and Air is the most honest and reasonably priced company in the Roanoke Valley/Smith Mountain Lake area. Their technicians are all highly knowledgeable and honest. I’ve had bad experiences with other large companies in the area. Especially the ones that offer multiple home services like heating cooling, plumbing, and electrical.
Every time I’ve called for service someone answers the phone and I’ve had a technician there the same day to make the repairs to my equipment.
I eventually purchased two new Trane heat pump systems from them and the installation was excellent. The price was very reasonable and more competitive than the other local Trane dealers.
Veronica in the office is a joy to deal with. And the service manager Ken has been great to work with as well. Every technician they’ve sent to my house has been respectful and honest. They never tried to upsell me or try to get me to buy something I did not need. Before I purchased my new systems when I had a problem, they would come out and evaluate my system and then give me options for repair.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have a new system installed or needs repair work done on an existing system.
Wyatt arrived at the scheduled time. He is friendly, professional, and competent. I appreciate that he went the extra mile to ensure the thermostat settings were correctly configured when I raised a question about it. His professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed. Bower is fortunate to have him as an employee.

Cameron did great job thoroughly checking and updating my A/C system ! I needed a small new part and he had it right on the truck. Good to have it running more efficiently.

Cameron showed up on time, did a great job of servicing our HVAC, made a minor repair quickly and installed a hard start unit all at a fairly reasonable price.
