Decent service and did take a while but exceptional job on cleaning both MSI laptops to almost new. Still waiting on the receipt on my laptop screen as it was replaced. Also waiting on my friends receipt as both where never sent. Have sent emails and they did say there where going to send but it never came through which is a bit strange....
Bits completely fixed my phone from water damage. After initially replacing my screen with a non-genuine one, Bits quickly ordered the correct one and remedied the situation. All the while communicating professionally and honestly, and picking-up and delivering the phone to my home each time. This was a great service and I will not hesitate to come back if I ever need phone repairs again.
My MacBook got damaged on Thursday. It got repaired and sent back to me by Saturday(I stay in Birmingham). They have a one year warranty so I didnt have to pay anything! as I'd gotten it fixed with them previously. They responded quick and were very nice over the phone.
I highly recommend them because they are affiliated with the university in bournemouth so you can be rest assured they know what they are doing
They built a new desktop for me. Brilliant service
I described what I needed, we agreed a budget, they suggested the parts list, I bought all the parts (now this is tedious, cpu, fans, cards .. a dozen parts from various countries; v time consuming so best diy), they put it together.
Overall an exceptional service. I worked on major projects around the world for 40 yrs and tried to suggest to Adam that his skills have more value than his current rates. They are good.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Peter, glad you are happy with the PC! Thanks for choosing us on this occasion.
Took my MacBook in, I was told the cost would be up to £149 depending on parts used, the only thing wrong was a loose connection, the laptop was in for an hour and was billed £149 for it. No parts used, just plugging a cable in

Unfortunately this completely untrue as proved by our CCTV. James was sent footage disproving all the claims he made above, which he viewed and refused to acknowledge.
My colleague immediately passed your Mac to the technician for repair, from the very minute it was booked in. We explained that the £149 was a fixed labour fee for diagnostics and repair. The cost would only rise above £149 should parts be required, which they weren't. We also explained the damage the previous shop caused and that we were unable to fix it as you were in a rush and could not leave it in longer. Our fee does not go up or down, it is exactly what we quote upfront - you were not told it would be "up to" £149.
Your logic board was repaired for corrosion, and we also fixed a number of issues caused by poor workmanship, and did everything possible to turn it around as soon as possible.
We did not charge you £149 to ‘plug in a cable’, what you paid £149 for is for a qualified electronics engineer who has repaired thousands of MacBooks to repair your Mac with industry leading equipment, and that is what you got. We had to use a combination of our thermal camera, microscope and engineering documents to figure out what went wrong with your board.
You were extremely condescending to my colleague, and asked why we charged you any money at all - despite the fact you had just observed your once dead Mac powering on. You brought in a dead Mac, and within one hour we repaired your logic board, and all we have in exchange is a false 1 Star Review, so there is clearly an ulterior motive here, since the CCTV disproves the false claims made.
We are honest, and do not lie to customers. Some places may pretend to replace parts to drive up the cost, but if we can repair your Mac without replacing parts unnecessarily and keep the cost down, then we will. It is a shame you could not return the favour and be honest yourself.

I went in today to get my laptop reset. Staff were friendly and efficient. They got my laptop reset the same day, around an hour and a half after I handed it in. I couldn't reset it myself after many hours of trying even as someone who does an IT course at Bournemouth University! The 15% student discount was very handy too. I will definitely be using bits again for any IT needs I may have in the future!

Thank you Jake, glad we could help!
I can’t say enough good things about Bits! When my fiancé’s laptop was completely destroyed by the dreaded Blue Screen of Death, they went above and beyond to help us. Their team was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and fast—making what felt like a disaster so much easier to deal with.
And if that wasn’t enough, I recently had a stripped screw that I thought was impossible to remove, and once again, they saved the day! Their attention to detail and willingness to help, no matter how big or small the issue, is truly outstanding.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and friendly repair shop, Bits is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Thanks so much Miho, glad we could help!
Today Adam went above and beyond helping me resolve an issue with my Mac. It hadn’t needed a new battery and he ran a diagnostic to confirm his opinion. Thank you for being so incredibly helpful - if l could give 10 stars l would. I’ll definitely be recommending your service. Mary

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review Mary, much appreciated
Professional, skilled, rapid service. Highly recommend! On a Friday night, I spilled a full glass of water across the keyboard of my open, running MacBook Pro M1 2020. I thought for sure this was going to be a data salvage scenario, and my laptop would need to be replaced. I took the machine into BITS on the Saturday morning shortly after they opened at 9am. Two hours later, after opening up the computer, replacing some corroded components, cleaning everything and reassembling, I had a perfectly functioning laptop again with all my data intact, and the total was less than £200! Very pleased, and relieved. I hope I don't need their repairs services again, but if I do find myself in need of computer repair in future, I will definitely be coming back to BITS, and I would highly recommend that you do too.

Glad we could help Shawn, thanks for choosing us!
Have had to take 2 separate items to Bits in the last couple years, both times they have gone above and beyond, ordering me the parts, keeping me informed of the timelines and when I dropped in an item at 8.30am I had it back in my hands at 12.30pm the same day. Very reasonable prices and always polite service.
