Unbelievable service! Macbook Air M1 screen fixed in 2 days and returned like new. Much cheaper than Apple’s quote (which was basically you may as well bin the laptop!). Free delivery, posted within minutes of payment (also payment after fix!), really well packaged (nice free chocolates too, thanks!), great customer service. Honestly can’t rate highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic service. No one can beat them in the prices they quote, in the care they take for your product, in communicating the progress of the repair. They even handle parcel and postage of your laptop both ways in the same price quote, how cool is that. My macbook screen was broken and all it took was 2 days for them to repair and post it back. They also provide 1 year guarantee for the replacement, Apple gives only 90 days. Thank you team BITS, you are amazing.

Fantastic company. Sent my laptop in to be fixed on a Monday ( picked up by royal mail) I received my repaired laptop back on Thursday. Couldn't recommend this company highly enough.

Sent my MacBook to be repaired and the process was very quick and easy. Received a label to ship, and once it was received they had it repaired and sent back within a couple days good as new. Definitely recommend for Mac repairs.

Disappointing Experience. Not an Apple Authorised Service Provider. We took an Apple Mac book air to BITS that had suffered some serious soft drink damage. At first all was good , we were quoted a reasonable price for the internal clean and. This soon doubled into a new screen and usb ports and 60% uplift in price. Trusting Bits we went ahead. 2hrs of logged screen time post repair the screen failed. We took the laptop back and were told that there was a crack in the screen we couldn't see and it was my daughter's fault. They did offer to replace the screen again at a discounted rate, however after phone calls and emails back and forth we decided to go to Apple for their opinion. Unfortunately we found out Bits are not Apple Authorised Service Providers and therefore had not logged any diagnostics or reports of repairs that were carried out. Apple opened the laptop during the meeting and found lots of corrosion and residue still left internally. They also noted the crack in the replacement screen was internal and could on have been caused by a severe drop on its corner. Sadly they suggested that due to the expenditure with Bits, the state the internals and the damaged screen we were advised to retire it and buy a new laptop. An expensive and disappointing experience.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We would like to clarify these points: • We used a genuine (made for Apple by LG) display for your repair. We intentionally remain independent - if we were Apple Authorised, we wouldn’t be allowed to perform liquid damage repair, logic board repair, data recovery and more. • You were quoted £149 labour, we quote parts after diagnostics as was initially agreed upon. After we assessed your device we discovered the logic board needed an ultrasonic clean, new screen, new USB C ports, and numerous components replaced on your logic board under a microscope. This is why the cost increased to £389 total. You were given the option to proceed or cancel. You replied via email to say you were happy to continue. • Apple would have charged over double and deleted your data - Your daughter had very important university work on there as we understand, we saved all of her data within the cost of £389. Even Apple does not provide data recovery. • The MacBook was working for a period of two weeks, we did confirm this with your daughter on a (recorded) phone call which you heard - she states verbatim “Hi there. Um, basically, I had my laptop fixed by you guys, uh, probably about two weeks ago. It's been absolutely fine. Um, and it's been working as normal.”. We assessed it and discovered the display had been cracked due to an application of pressure (accidental damage). Therefore, this was not covered by our warranty. • You state Apple themselves confirmed the display did indeed suffer a crack, caused by a drop on the corner, so our workmanship and parts have no connection to the display being cracked, which is why it is not covered under warranty. • Your MacBook was severely liquid damaged, so much so that there was liquid sloshing around inside - all faulty components that were damaged were replaced, and we cleaned up all traces of liquid using a specialist ultrasonic cleaner. Any other traces of liquid/corrosion left are purely cosmetic and do not affect the operation or reliability of your Mac. Your Mac continues to work fine despite the fact the display is cracked. When you brought your Mac to us originally, it did not power on and had no signs of life. It was so severe, that some connectors inside were melted and burnt. • We offered to repair your cracked screen again without charging you any labour cost - in other words, do the repair at a loss, which you refused. This would have cost £180 as opposed to £1000 for a new MacBook Air. • We keep a full log of all repairs performed on our system, which contains a full log of all staff that have dealt with your job and what has been done, you are entitled to this under the Data Protection Act by submitting a SAR. Apple of course cannot have a log of any diagnostics or reports of repairs that were carried out, as we are not connected to Apple. • As a repair business, we provide a 1 Year Guarantee on all our work, and customers will never pay out of pocket where things go wrong - whilst we do empathise that it is unfortunate to crack the screen after only two weeks and mishaps do happen, our guarantee is not equivalent to insurance. We would invite you to ask Apple if they would replace a cracked screen for free - no business would do this (unless you purchased AppleCare+ insurance).

I never mind a few drawbacks here and there in service. But this was a bad experience for me. The reality needs to come forward as well, like those shiny reviews. Just a heads-up and a suggestion to all the people submitting their products please check and take pictures of your products before submitting, just in case. Because from my experience the transparency and honesty from the team's side was questionable. While I was informed that it was a software issue the laptop wasn't opened by the team as there's no use for it. But upon receiving the product the housing was opened and not correctly packaged, bending my air vent metal. And a missing screw bolt. When confronted they corrected it saying we never opened but as you brought it up we fixed it and it's nothing major. The point here is not the dent on my air vent metal. It's the explanation that felt more bad and wrong. The worker kept giving example if his Mac book was given and this would have happened he wouldn't have cared or if this was his car he wouldn't have cared. Firstly I don't care how you would have felt in a fake scenario and I hope you never get a service where they do damage and never accept their fault and tell the customer "THE CONSUMER" it's alright it's life move on. I'm sorry that it's not how you provide a professional service. And please be honest and take responsibility for your actions and be little considerate for your customers they are trusting you with their products, their hard earned products which they have to come in very vulnerable situations. For you it might be just a block of components but for others it's more than that. And please never tell your customers that I'm sure even if the customer takes extreme care of the product it's gonna look like that either way. I'm sorry it won't. If so called professional help don't do stuff and lie about it. And also I felt strange when I asked if "my laptop was opened by the team?" It's weird to get a reply from the team "if I was you - I wouldn't have cared" as a customer can I not even get to know what all was done to my product? Rather than confirming and giving the customer information was it opened or not ? I'm getting information about what he would have done if he was me ???

We would ask any customer to consider that it stands to reason that this customers comments do not honestly reflect our business - if it did, we would not have amassed a 4.7 Star average over the last decade. The only service offered to Prikit was a Windows reinstallation, which does not require any hardware repair or disassembly.
