Never been here before. Had an issue with my Mathew’s VXR. Made the drive out. Dustin fixed my issue in minutes without me even showing him the issue. He was polite, knowledgeable and all around a class act. Even talked deer hunting a bit. This place is EXACTLY what you want out of a local bow shop. Support places like this over big box stores! Keep guys like this in business. We need them.
I bought a used Hoyt Vulcan xt 500 from my buddy, and it was in great condition. After shooting it a good amount, I determined the draw length was too long. My buddy recommended Bounce. Terrible suggestion. I went in there, and the guy (Dustin I believe) told be it could not be adjusted, and told me the draw length was 3-4” too long? Immediate red flag, as he didn’t even measure me. He proceeded to tell me that my best bet was to sell the bow, and come by a new one. Now, from talking to other people , it sounds like this guy is just refusing to work on anything but Matthew’s bows. I took it down to the hunters outlet, they reset the length, gave me advice, and reassured me that what I have is perfect for me …..I will never go back to Bounce. They just want you to buy whatever they have for sale. That’s it
It has been since 2009 that I have purchased a compound bow. I went to see Dustin and right away I was treated like family and he had an answer before I could even ask a question. so I obviously purchased a bow he had it set up just about perfect for me. So I took it home. Shot the next morning and knew I needed a bigger peep site. So I called Dustin he said come on in anytime you are ready. He changed it free of charge. I gave him some money anyway. Good people and good service are hard to come by these days! Thank you again Dustin I will recommend you to all my friends.
Went inside with my Mathews and heard a lot of up sale. I shoot a 9 year old bow and to me that’s not that old. He is knowledgeable but I think he might have been a car salesman’s one time in his life. Way to much up sale for me to return. If you go in there be ready for that. I hope if he reads this he will tone it down and his sales will go up
Amazing place and atmosphere. I wanted to get into bow hunting and bought both a bow and a crossbow. I wanted some target practice and my wife found Bounce. I wasn't sure what to expect when I scheduled a class, but it was the best thing I've ever done. All my questions and concerns were answered and explained. He suggested some improvements and some minor repairs which I went ahead with as the bow is secondhand. I'll update once the repairs are done and I get my first deer. Overall, I'd recommend Bounce to anyone looking to get into archery and bow hunting.
Came in looking for my first compound bow (only ever crossbow hunted before unsuccessfully) and we got to talking and with my budget I was looking at an entry level new bow or I could get a 6year old preowned flagship bow and he hooked me up with an entry level kit on the bow and it preformed great from the time the bow was built picked up and only ever shot 20 arrows through it when out the next morning and got my first deer. Definitely recommend them to anybody!
