Absolutely atrocious services. When booking a day trip in a private boat I was quoted $300 and upon payment I was informed that the AI chat bot made a mistake as "it always quotes the lowest price". The price nearly doubled. The boat itself was big enough for 3 passengers but smelled like oil and gas throughout the entire trip. But the best part came at lunch: when I settled the charges for lunch and drinks for my family I was informed that it is "customary" to also pay for the crews lunches. The crew chose to have lobster, beers ... all the really expensive items on the menu. The restaurant owner would not budge and let us leave unless we settled. We were charged an extra $300!!! I disputed the charges with my credit card company with no success. This business is a racket. Ruined a birthday and splendid trip to otherwise beautiful Colombia.

El día de ayer estuvimos en un Tour hacia las islas del Rosario y Barú. Tuvimos contacto con el mangle en Barú. Pudimos apreciar diversas especies de mangles y de aves, vimos unas muy lindas y algunas que no supe identificar cuáles eran, vimos mapaches y también fuimos a un club de playa, míomío, en Barú y la vdd una experiencia única, muy amena y sobre todo relajante, comimos una mojarra frita que estaba deliciosa y unos cócteles como la piña colada, muy ricos. Los guías. Vanessa y Camilo hacen que Botegena tenga una esencia espectacular y acogedora, de verdad, si tienen la oportunidad de reservar con ellos, por favor, háganlo no van a arrepentirse nunca, vivimos momentos inolvidables gracias a ellos y una comodidad que solo otorga el buen servicio

We had an amazing experience renting a boat in Cartagena with our tour guide Camilo and the captains on our boat Jaider and Rodolfo ! The crew was bilingual, professional, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire trip. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and the views of the islands were incredible. It was definitely one of the highlights of our family trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena!

We had the BEST day with Botegena Boat Rentals in Cartagena! Adam was very responsive and the pricing was very reasonable. Our tour guide Camilo was amazing—bilingual, knowledgeable, and really listened to what we wanted for the day while offering great suggestions. The captains Rodolfo and Jaider were fantastic as well—friendly, experienced, and made us feel safe and welcomed the entire time. Nice ride, our host and crew were super nice and friendly. I just want to make the point that please do not bring or recommend any one paying for a private boat ride to fo the nasty dirty beach island we're they took us. Other than that all was great. My trip was on the 3th and my host was Vanessa who did a great work.
