Laurie is fantastic. She’s been doing my hair for several years now-haircut and highlights. When I first came to her she rescued me from a really bad haircut and made it work, cute even. She’s fun, she listens and she makes sure you get the look you want. She’s skilled at helping me manage the cut and products for my fine blonde hair to maximize volume and growth. My highlights look so natural and beautiful. Laurie provides great service and she’s reasonably priced. I never hesitant to recommend Blue Violet Salon.

Cannot recommend enough! I recently moved to the area and needed a new salon, and I’m so glad I found Laurie! I found her from her excellent reviews here, and they hold up! Laurie is incredible! The ultimate professional. My hair has never looked better. I get compliments all the time on the color and cut. I have 4 close family / friends that now go to Laurie after hearing me rave about her amazing talent. Laurie also did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did phenomenal. Totally recommend.

Laurie is an absolute gem! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 13 years, and I would not trust my baby fine, fragile hair to anyone else! She has a gift for color and is a perfectionist when it comes to the service she provides you. She loves to help you feel beautiful!

Hello! Laurie has been cutting, coloring, and styling my hair for about 3 years now and I could not be happier with the results. Laurie is always very friendly and kind to me and anyone I bring with me to my appointments. She also listens to all my ideas id like to do to my hair and makes recommendations on how to achieve any look with also keeping the integrity of my hair in mind. I always leave her chair happy and I get so many compliments on how great my hair looks thanks to her. Id recommend her to anyone.

She is great with short hair (which is harder to get right than you would think), taking time to make sure the bangs are right, the sides are even and that I am happy with the look.

Laurie Owen, owner of Blue Violet Salon and Spa is just AMAZING! Everyone knows how hard it is finding a new hairdresser and I was having such a hard time after moving to Orlando. Then I was blessed with the hair fairies and I found Laurie! She was able to correct some really bad mistakes that had happened while trying to find the perfect colorist and hairdresser, and yay, Laurie is just great. Color, cuts and she is so funny.

I have long full hair and I love it being long, so I’ve kept it long for many years but it was too much hair for my petite body. Of course it always looked great when I left my previous salon but I wasn’t able to keep it looking like less volume. Laurie was recommended to me and I found her very attentive. She asked questions and really discussed with me what out come I wanted and then she went to WORK! She shaped and styles and thinned and angled until there was this whole layered look that shaped my face and thinned out the poof and volume! I love it! My friends say it takes 10 years off me. Who doesn’t want to hear that? I’ve had 3 appointments with Laurie and each one just as great or better than the last. I always left feeling beautiful ! I’m not sure I’ve ever written a google review but I want to share this information because we all know a Good Stylist is a gem! Right? Laurie is not only a lovely person but a wonderful master stylist.
